OSOYOO Basic Starter kit for Arduino with Controller Board and USB Cable Compatiable with UNO R3 Including Sampe Projects Programming with IDE

This is a high quality set for a rock bottom price. All of the projects are documented wonderfully! Osoyoo's website is the best lay out of any I have seen yet! Very well organized and has all the information in one place. There were a few typos, and the sketch for testing the display will not load unless the screen power line is unplugged. Since the display screen draws under 25 mA, I connected the power wire to the D8 pin and add two lines of code to turn the display on after the program runs. pinMode(8,OUTPUT); digitalWrite(8,HIGH); Just put these two lines before the line that initializes the display screen. The price has gone up a lot in the last few weeks. I bought my kit for under $18.00 and now the same kit is over $28.00 which is still a great price. If you have children older than 5th grade, you need to get them one of these sets. You should work with them to do each of the many projects so you can learn and enjoy this excellent introduction to programming microcontrollers!

This is a great kit if you don't have a stock of parts at your disposal. So far everything has worked as it should, and there are a good supply of most of the things you need for a simple Arduino project. I've been using this board for the last couple of weeks running an automated plant watering system, and other than the build quality of the board being a little shabby (inputs not being lined up perfectly or slightly crooked, etc), I've run into no issues.This kit is worth it for the board and 16x2 LCD screen alone.

This is a great starter kit for the price, I have had this for a few months now and everything is still working great. The board is a very well made board. In fact, the soldering of the parts on the board are top notch! You cant go wrong with this starter kit! Also make sure to look at there website for fun Ideas to build things with kit!

The UNO R3 works fine. I have not yet tested the other parts. The parts were largely sorted into groups of labeled ziplock bags - nice. However, the parts came in a box - literally a cardboard box with a printed wrapper. Many similar Arduino project kits come packaged in a re-usable plastic box with dividers or compartments. To be fair, the product description and photos do not show a plastic box - so "my bad" for expecting one.

Very good price ,for a nice kit.It worked ok ,with the instructions downloaded from the web ,and the examples in the Arduino program.The breadbord ,is the only that was not comfortable for me ,but may be is because the new shoes.Good for to begin ,adictive.- - -

I would never purchase Arduino products unless I had something very simple to construct. This equipment requires that you give up your entire process in order to pull down any pin(for input). I cannot integrate this kind of equipment because this micro-controller is essentially trash. If you have any questions about what I mean just try to read analogRead(A(0-5)). If this equipment is not pulled down into ground there is nothing but floating values as if some kind of wizard has wished volts across the pin. Sorry guys, but this is trash. Think about it. I mean just try one parallel set-up and you they will give you some other wished fill - trash filled reading. Wow, what trash.

Excellent Starter Kit! Has enough to get me up and running with the labs we're working on in my Robotics class! I also bought the CuteDigi Starter Kit for Arduino A for some additional accessories! All in all I'm impressed for the price!If you're looking for tutorials or projects I'd recommend checking out SparkFun's website. We follow some of the projects available on there for my class!

This kit did not come with the correct instructions. The pictures don’t help. The lcd screen did not come w the correct library. Internet chat forums have helped but this was not a good value for money.
