All Terrain Wheel Kit - fits Honda EU3000is Generator, Solid Never Flat Tires (White Wheels)

Good quality wheels, and a snap to affix to the generator. Uses the existing bolts on the base of the generator, and both axle plates are identical, so it doesn't matter which one you use on the front or back. I did have to put a little air in the wheels, but that is to be expected after shipping. The wheels are on straight axles, so you do have to lift the generator to get it to do anything other than move in a straight line--but you wouldn't want it any other way. This makes the generator very easy to load into the pickup (with ramps); I've taken the generator "off-road" several times now, and it's a breeze to move. This kit would benefit with some sort of mechanism to lock the wheels, so when in transport it doesn't run around (currently I block the wheels and tie the generator to the side of the pickup bed). In all, it works as designed, and gives you an easy way to move the generator on uneven surfaces.

A snap to install. Way better than carrying the generator. Well worth the money.

Was very easy to install. Has made using our generator on our weekend trips to our barn so much easier. One person can move the generator now, instead of two having to pick it up. Our property has a pad of road base rock and lots of dirt and natural rock. These big knobby tires make it easy to maneuver anywhere we need it to go. I recommend for those that need to put their generator on wheels.

Several people have complained about a) poor directions and b) the screws not lining up just right. I had the same experience. On the rear axil (oil panel side), there is a welded nut to the generator. While the axle has a hole cut out for it, the axle was a mm or so off, just enough to prevent me from getting the nut to bite. I used this step drill bit to widen that welded nut hole as well as the hole for the non-biting nut. Worked great. Wheels work great.

This comes as two brackets that fit perfectly and simply onto the front and back of the generator. The wheels go on with a nylon spacer and metal cap to keep them in place. It took me about ten minutes from start to finish to install. I guess you could put it on incorrectly, but it would take some effort to get it wrong! The wheels I got were not pneumatic, so going flat shouldn't be a problem. Rolls like a dream. Would definitely purchase this again.

It's never been easy to lift and move my still great 20-year-old EU3000is generator . . . until NOW. Installed in under 15 minutes. 4 bolts out, put bracket on (fitting perfectly), bolts in, wheels on, retention rings hammered on . . . DONE! Does not turn . . . but how would that work? Just lift the end an inch and turn. Also, do need a "stop" rock or wedge to keep wheels from moving generators unintentionally. Great value, ease of installation, easy of use, and makes a very hard to move wonderful generator a VERY mobile generator.

It's a nice wheel kit. Great on the lawn and steps to the shed. Nice large wheels that will not dig into soft ground or gravel. So nice in fact, I purchased a second set for the other generator. However, I'm concerned that the front wheel set mount bracket covers over the inverter/controller module ventilation slots on the underside of the generator chassis. I'm not pleased with that. The remedy would be to drill a series of 1/2" drilled holes in the proper location on the front wheel set mount bracket to restore the ventilation and airflow over a critical control module. Honda engineers made sure those ventilation slots were placed where they are for an important purpose. Covering them over may lead to a decline of module life span. It does take some effort to plot where to place the ventilation holes on the front bracket and drill them. Just do it once the first time and forget about it, knowing you went the extra step and now have peace of mind. I'm surprised the original designer never came up with a fix.

This Wheel Kit makes rolling your generator around much easier. The large wheels make easy to roll. One of the holes on the mounting bracket was not centered properly so you have to grind out the about 1/4" of the hole about 1/8 of an inch. Then it fits fine. I wish the front wheels turned, like on a wagon, to make it even easier to maneuver. But it is the best wheel kit I could find.

I liked the fact that it fit perfectly, and was easy to install. Makes it much easier to move the generator. Should have bought the kit sooner. The dislike is the caps to go over the wheel hub, wished it was a cotter-pin style not as likely to fall off when moving over a rougher terrain.

Easy installation although it required some slotting of one hole to get one bracket to fit properly. I replaced the axle caps with cotter pins and washers.
