Seismic Audio CLA-2x5 Compact 2 x 5 Line Array Speaker with Titanium Compression Driver PA/DJ Band Live Sound

Rarely do I contribute to reviews but felt best letting others know my two cents as live sound engineer touring globally.For starters let's focus on the fella horrored by this model consumed over poor arrayability and phase coupling:My one cents:What the hell do you want for under three hundred dollars!Yes there are some issues but nothing that severe.At the end of this will be eq parameters to fix most of this, also debunking fellas stated "cannot be equalize corrected".Overall tests showed good full bodied reproduction , a bit boxy in the 140 Hz area and lacking ultra high frequency (eq below helps bring HF foward without boosting frequency).Construction / Finish / Rigging is excellent and easy to use.Crossover network was made using good capacitors and included a variable resistor or lightbulb acting as a power absorber compressing the HF driver.Crude but works. Downside is reduced HF and the flashing. Onlookers my think there on fire inside. Solid little speaker takes more power than I expected delivers just dont expect lots of output, works best with more devices and a sub of course

Awful. Promptly returned. The box is of nice quality and the pins are fairly industry standard as far as line arrays go, but the sound quality is horrendous. Very honky and unfix-able with an EQ due to a low quality mid/ high driver.If you have ever worked with a real line array such as JBL's VERTX series, or even JBL's fixed VRX series you will know from the coverage pattern that this box produces is just a traditional box with some fancy hardware. If you were to put more than one of these together into an array you would have major phase issues.

I've purchased 2 (ea) sets of these arrays with the matching subwoofers and used them 5 times since, used it in a concert hall, in a gym, an outdoor event and twice in a restaurant and have had no problems but nice good clear-clean sounds out of these speakers with people telling me of how great the sound is and having nothing but good compliments.I am very much happy and satisfied with these purchases/investment that I've made on these array speakers and would greatly advise..

i love this speakers i bought 12 . you can make your own EDC festival with these . i am very proud of this investment.

These are a 90 degree horizontal by 50 degree vertical cabinet. They ARE NOT LINE ARRAYS. So you know.
