Communication Between Cultures

I don't usually like text books, but this one is an exception. I get addicted to reading the content because it is written in a language 'normal people talk'. It is not so advanced that you need to research each word and it flows very well. If I didn't rent this book, I'd want to keep it for my own library. It is truly informative in learning how to communicate with others from a different culture.

The book is in great condition.No pages missing or torn.A few pages were highlighted but nothing major.It came in time just like it was announced . I would definitely buy again from this company.

I bought this affordable 8th edition text to supplement the e-text of the 9th edition that I am renting for a course. Sometimes I want to highlight and have a physical text. This edition is very different from the 9th edition. It has been changed a lot - good info, but I do not recommend it as a replacement for the 9th edition if you need it for a college class.

First of all, the book was in great condition when I recieved it in the mail. It was the correct book that was required for my class and was a much better price to the really "used" books in my bookstore. I am very grateful that the conditions provided of the book (before I purchased it) was very detailed to what the products state it had been.

interesting reading, needed it for a cultural diversity class, I would recomend it - only problem I have with the book is the topics are scattered all over. This is not a book you can pinpoint a particular area for a certain topic. You have to actually read to get the information.

Terrible with conflicting ideas in the same chapter they are presented. Book came in terrible condition. I had better expectations for a book that is supposed to encourage respectful manners of communicating between cultures, but instead inadvertently insults cultures based on its hasty generalizations about a culture and its people.

I had to rent this book twice. The first book never made it to my house. I was refunded and had to rent it again. The second time around, I recieved my book. The book itself is very informative and effective. I recieved an A in my course because of this book. I would recommend this book to those who are majoring in Communications. My only issue was the delivery.
