I thought I'd save myself a few bucks by ordering this ignitor, a cheaper version of what was previously in our oven that had stopped working. It was relatively easy to install and the oven fired up instantly. However, after 2-3 days of using it regularly, it totally stopped working- going to replace it with the 'genuine' part now and return this one.

Worked 3 times and broke, pulled it out and discovered the ceramic was cracked and it would arc to the pipe not where the gas is.

Worked great and the stove fires up every time now. The part was more flimsy than the original so you should take care when installing it, but once it’s installed it doesn’t need to be handled, so I hope it lasts.

Easy to install and now my stove works like new again.
