Vortex Diamondback HD 12x50 Binoculars

They are really quite good. Very clear and not too heavy.

12x50 Diamondback HD is awesome for bird watching, low light use is great as advertised and seeing into and through the shadows is beyond belief. Focus is quick and the FOV is enough to easily find the birds. These replaced a 15 year old Nikon Travelite IV 12x25 which developed double vision, no warranty from Nikon or LL Bean without the sales receipt and original warranty card which I didn't save. The Vortex no-nonsense warranty is there if I ever need it, no registration or receipt required. I also bought a 10x42 Diamondback HD and they are a bit smaller in size which makes them a good fit for my wife. Both pair are just fantastic and almost like looking in 3D. The case is padded and a good size to fit the glasses but I don't see us strapping it to our chest. We just use the strap with the glasses. Lens covers are functional and the flip down object lens is nice to have. A great feature is the adjustable eyecup on the ocular lens that allows you to press them against your eyes to reduce the shake. A top notch pair of binoculars, the best I have ever owned or used and at a price that is affordable.

Amazing set of optics. For me, they were a little bit pricey but if you look at these compared to the world of optics as a mid range budget option especially on sale for $225, these are just amazing. Very clear glass with all the adjustability and functionality you’ll ever need and the carrying case is an awesome bonus. I can differentiate a spike from a doe at over 250 yards out early morning no issue with the 12x50’s. Photos through glass do not give an accurate depiction, everything was much larger and clearer when looking through your own eyes compared to pictures I could get through them with an iphone camera which ranged from 25-100 yards shown. These are also very durable I dropped them probably 5 times just in a weekend hunting trip and survived perfectly fine sitting on the dash of a 4x4 being zigged and zagged all around on the dirt roads. I mean it’s vortex, everyone knows they make quality.

Clarity is amazing. 12x50, can really see across the way.Objective Lenses are so big that I have them pretty much touching so my eyes line up with ocular lenses. Very nice though. Nice weight, feel really well made.

Great product with very clear visuals. They were easy to adjust to my personal eyesight needs, which made a big difference. I also love the case and strap options that come with them. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and the quality of the binoculars.

Great Bono’s. Very clear

These are great glasses that I use daily. At the time if purchase I bought 2 pair of binoculars. The Vortex were recommended to me by a guy I work with that used them a lot. Not being able to test them to compare I bought these Vortex on Amazon for $238 and a pair of Bushnell Powerview 12X50 for $42. I have several smaller pair of Bushnell and was pleased with them and thought I would give them a go also. The Vortex are sleeker in design and Bushnell look just like any other pair you've seen for 50 years. But after using them both for a few months I will say other than appearance they are pretty much the same comparing the focus and clarity. They both adjust mechanically the same and view the same in low light and no light situations. The Vortex may have just a slightly sharper view at the longest distance but you really have to switch back and forth at several object at long distance to notice it. My wife and son both use them and state there is no difference. All this being said if I was going to purchase another pair again, only because of price, I would have to go with the Bushnell glasses there is not enough difference between them to justify spending the additional $196.

Bonjour, j'étais septique au début et avant l'achat et vraiment très hésitant me suis fié au commentaire et après les avoir commandés reçu et avoir bien pris le temps de les essayer Je suis vraiment ravie et ne regrette pas du tout mon achat ! Les plus : jumelles vraiment top on voit clairement de pré comme de loin pour ceux qui aiment regarder très loin paysages oiseaux vraiment très loin sont être vraiment surpris par la netteté de l'image c'est comme si vous étiez juste à côté même par temps nuageux possible de faire un réglage vraiment fin de très bonnes fabrication carcasse et étanchéité bien construit et pour finir savoir quels sont garanties à Vie devrait vous guider dans votre achat ! Les moins qui sont vraiment dérisoire Je trouve le système d'accroche pour les porter un peu trop compliqué une manière plus simple aurait été la bienvenue ! Ensuite un peu lourde mais personnellement ne pose pas vraiment de problème dans un sac à dos où autre ! Ensuite pour regarder vraiment loin surtout en 12x50 il faut prendre l'habitude de rester immobile pour avoir une meilleure vision de très loin mais c'est vraiment pour des petits détails ! O produto é excelente e a marca se sustenta por si só. Como já tive o modelo CROSSFIRE 10X50 tbm, devo dizer que pela diferença de preço aqui no Brasil, não vale a pena comprar o Diamondblack. As imagens captadas são bem próximas. Nos EUA a diferença de valores são somente 10 dólares e aqui no Brasil 1000 reais

I have used Vortex optics for years, mostly riflescopes, and more lately Spotting scope and these Binos. These are the first vortex product I have purchased from there “HD” range. I was sceptical at first, but once I looked through these I was left speechless. The quality of the image can only really be appreciated when viewed for yourself.

Excellent binoculars with a sharp, bright image. A complicated harness comes with the case so you can walk around with the binoculars on your chest like a proud dad with a new baby. Not for me, so I took scissors to the straps and cobbled together a simple shoulder strap. Otherwise great.
