Easy to use, works great
This is my first trimmer. I am a fan of corded electrics for the lawn as my lawn is small enough that a 100' cord lets me mow and trim only replugging once when moving from front of house to back. The cord is more of a pain for the lawn mower, not annoying at all for the trimmer.I am 6'3" and the trimmer works well for my height, but its adjustable so I can see it working well for shorter folks. You can change the angle for edging pretty quickly. The line feeds itself every time you turn it off, which was a good enough amount of times for my use.I am not sure if there are lighter trimmers, but my arms do feel a bit tired after using it. I count it as an arm work out, so its a plus!

String is too thin to do any whacking of the weeds (0.65)
Revision after I modified the line spoolI drilled out the spool to fit .080 line and the edger is much better now. Spool with .080 line does not hold very much line, but it works soooooo much better now. I just used a drill bit slightly larger than .080 line and widened the spool line hole for the initial string when you wrap the string/line.I pulled this unit out of the trash to give this modification and it worked out and then some.Original 1 year rant:I finally had to throw this unit away because I had just re-spooled and fed the whole reel, manually mostly because the feeder button was sunken) to edge a fairly small yard.I bought this for my dad after I threw his last whacker of weeds away.Edger still runs fine, but feeder button sketchy and line that works with spool is too thin.

Buy the warranty as it will burn out on you.
One will always have to feed extra line by hand. Over the years I am so used to it, what can I do? I like the long line feed though, sixteen inches or so. I bought the warranty as it will burn out soon. So I bought two, one in the shop and one on the lawn. Ha. Jim

Trimmer Line Mechanism is the Worst
I received a Worx leaf shredder for Christmas and that is why I decided to go for another Worx product as it's performance was more than satisfactory. This trimmer seems to be well designed...that is until you get to the string mechanism. It has ample power, is light, turns easily but this string mechanism is an absolute nightmare. As soon as you hit concrete the string basically disintegrates. The way you get it to auto feed is to pull the trigger, let off and you'll hear a click. You repeat this until the string is long enough that the string hits the blade that cuts it. The directions are AWFUL! It does not tell you how to properly configure the twine so that it feeds correctly. I would trim for about 2 minutes before the twine would do something where I had to manually reconfigure it and start again. After some experimentation I figured out how it should be wound, I thought. I spent more time fixing it than actually trimming. I returned this to Amazon after two uses and purchased another trimmer. I would avoid buying this trimmer despite its low price. The stress you'll have from using it will more than make up the difference in price for a good trimmer. Also, the trimmer string is $6 a pop and based on the fact that I only got a single trim of my .25 acre yard, you will be buying new line every week so this thing will end up costing you hundreds by the end of the year. Worx will send you free trimmer line ($9 after shipping costs) for other trimmers but NOT this one. Do yourself a favor. Spend the extra dollars for a good trimmer and don't look back.

Does the job!
This Worx weed whacker is easy to use and very functional. It takes care of all those places you cant teach with the mower. It is a but heavier than I expected (or maybe that’s just my arms getting tired-haha). Also, it takes a bit to het used to replacing the cord but once you’ve done it a few times you’ll know the drill.

Meh. I ended up getting a gas model
I'm a landlord and purchased several of these; I gave two to tenants to encourage them to edge their yards. These are cheap and light, and you get what you pay for. They just don't hold up. Of the (I think) 5 I've purchased, all are now dead. The issue is the design. The motor is down near the spool (unlike with most gas models). As you use the edger, particularly in dirty or dusty environments, dirt and debris get sucked into the little slats that allow for airflow to cool the electric motor. This is unavoidable. Eventually, the motor burns out. I've tried, but it's not possible to take the head apart enough to clean it. Another annoyance is that the spools often stop feeding, and you have to take the feeder mechanism apart and pull the line out yourself. The plastic line warms up as you use it, and the line starts sticking to itself. There were several times when this happened so frequently that I was tempted to hurl the thing over the fence. I finally broke down and purchased a gas model that I can put other attachments on; I've been pleased with that. If you don't mind buying a new one of these every year or two, or if you have no dirt in your yard (heh), this will probably work passably for you.

Too heavy for me.
I bought this electric cord trimmer, because they do not deliver lithium battery to Puerto Rico, but is to heavy for me and you need to be very careful with the cord. Will only buy again if they deliver the battery. But the brand is excellent. The brand, i highly recommend.
