Can this work with Amazon fire stick

It can turn my insignia fire tv on and control the volume but it won't do anything more. So it does work to an extent.

Does it work with Charter cable

Hi Desi - my parents have Charter and they have a Cisco cable box (I believe it's the Cisco 4640). I had to use the "Other" set up option and it worked fine for me. According to Flipper, it is "preset to Motorola cable boxes". I know Charter provides Motorola cable boxes, as well.

Can you use the same remote for a tv and cable box?

Yes - the remote is intended for two devices, and the TV and Cable box is the most common combination. Instructions walk you through how to set them up together on the remote.

will this work with Samsung smart TV?

The flipper big button remote works very good on many of the newer digital TV's. You get an instruction sheet with your purchase that details the setup procedures for programming. The biggest advantage to this remote is all major key pad functions are hidden which prevents accidental programming changes.
