Samsung 6x SE-506CB/RSWD Portable Blu-ray Writer Bundle with 1 Pack M-DISC BD (White, Retail Box)

I needed to get an external USB cd rom so I figured get a Samsung to match my new laptop. Well the software that comes with this is straight up garbage to say the least. Now I need to spend some time looking for different software so it will play a blu-ray disc. Everyother disc works but a blu-ray, at least with the software it came with.

Drive works perfectly.Wish BluRay software was less finicky, but that is par for the course. PowerDVD needs a video system wich supports HDCP, so no VGA type video. VLC will work with it even in these cases, but the selection of BR's is much less that will work. In all other respects this drive works well even with older hardware such as mine.
