Space Bandits

I wasn't sure expecting such a fun read! This was my first book by Mark Millar. I loved the dialogue between Cody and Thena. I thought the set up for their revenge was well crafted and their adventure to get it was interesting to follow. The twists and reveals were pretty great. My favorite character was Cosmo. Super adorable. I'd read more if he decides to write about these characters again but I'm also happy with the way it ended.

What a fun, short ride. Will definitely re-read in the future. The art style is one of my favorites

The art of this book is amazing. I have to give props. However, the writing is not so great. At times it is juvenile. At other times it is overly derivative. Many of the plot twists are predictable at best, at worst they feel like they were taken from other stories. But the worst part of the story is that the pacing is all over the place - but mostly way too fast.

This is a wonderfully fast paced scifi revenge story with 2 women going after the men who wronged them. It has everything from sex, drugs and food along with robbery. A nice quick read that, as always, has a twist to it.

Interesting setting and visuals, but the writing for this book is not good at all. Any interesting twist is spoon fed to the reader, such as Cody's link to Nibiruan white lizards (I think that she's required to remind you at least once per issue). None of the characters are particularly likeable

The plot line is a little obvious and the art is not Scalera’s best, but Space Bandits is still highly entertaining and great for a short journey.Millar has written some cool books, but I’ve never found him particularly original. If you generally like his stuff, you won’t have any issues with this well crafted / humorous fluff.

Great start to hopefully will be a good series . Hard to stop reading

Felt like it was cut from Clint magazine, sponsored by Netflix, hope all these titles get a tv series.
