Authentic German Bayern Brot
Very tasty and authentic. Lasts a long time in the fridge. Tastes great with plain tomatoes and butter. Also with salami and butter. Could also go quite well with hard boiled egg and butter. I mention butter a lot because the bread has a tendency to be pretty dry.

This is a nope.
Not the best bread and not fresh, very salty snd didnt taste very traditional. I was very disappointed. Additionally, both loaves were shipped in a flimsy box without any sort of cushioned wrapping. The box had been retaped (by shipper?) because it was ripped open, dented and partially open.

I grew up in Germany and remember this bread. I was hesitant about purchasing it as I have tried many. But this bread is authentic and tastes exactly as it was baked in Germany. I will definitely be purchasing this bread again. Thank you Gourmet Market!
