Bought this kit after finding out a locksmith wanted £70 call out fee to remove the broken key. Material is rather flimsy but it did the job removing the broken key with ease. Comfortable handles and good range of tools to remove the broken key. Recommend this kit if you want to save a lot of money

Despite the You Tube vids sadly these didn’t work as the broken key section appeared to be retained by a part of the lock mechanism. Almost certainly me not using the tools correctly. Have kept them as they will be handy for something for sure

The spiral extractors I got were as pictured. One was a straight piece of wire with no serrations, the other didn’t have serrations at the top which is the most important bit! The rest of the tools work perfectly including for a different use I wanted them for due to the thickness.

These little tools look so flimsy but believe me they're amazing, my key had snapped in half IN the lock, I'm 72 and it took me a while but with patience they most definitely worked, would definitely recommend if anyone else happens to have the same problem

Very good. Worked first time on broken window key. Took some time for a friends’ Yale type door lock. Some written tips/instructions with the set would be helpful. My tip - make sure the lock itself is in exactly the start/finish alignment before trying to extract. Simple tapping with a hammer and flat blade screwdriver can achieve this easily before attempting extraction. Then it’s a fiddle.

Broke my front door key in the lock & tried everything to get the piece out before these arrived. First attempt & with these & it came out. Excellent bit of kit!

Mir ist bei einer teuren Tresorbox für Dokumente der Schlüssel abgebrochen. Da steckte er nun im Schloss und bewegte sich keinen Millimeter. Nach Internetrecherche, was man in solchen Fällen tun kann, bestellte ich mir dieses Werkzeugset. Kaum erhalten, legte ich mit dem Zubehör los - und das zum allerersten Mal. Nicht mal eine Minute hat es gedauert, und das abgebrochene Schüsselteil war im Freien. Daher wärmstens zu empfehlen für die Lösung solcher Probleme.
