I usually get this at the drug store but I was ordering other supplements and added this.

Work great for me

I take garlic because it's supposed to be good both for heart health and discouraging noxious insects. I can't say categorically that these claims are justified; but neither have I any definitive evidence that they're not; I may be getting fewer mosquito bites than I would have without, and my heart doesn't seem to be giving me much trouble. I prefer tablets to capsules because tablets don't get sticky and clump together, but swallowing tablets, even with water, can give me trouble. All my life, I've sometimes had to chew dry tablets up before swallowing. I never have to chew these: they're the easiest to swallow I have ever found -- lightly convex and smooth.

As far as the garlic is concerned, the product is fine- 2 tablets a day (instead of 4 or more). As far as the odor is concerned: hit and miss. Not only do the tablets stink (which isn't that big of a deal), but the person taking the tablets may stink as well! Sometimes when I take these, my wife tells me I smell "spicy." It's no big deal, I think that spicy is all the rage these days anyway. That said, I still take them and she's either gotten used to the smell or simply stopped caring. My understanding is that the odorless capsules filled with oil are the route to go if you truly want odorless.BTW: whatever you do, take garlic. My vitamin regimen was limiting me to a cold about once every 3 to 5 years. After a wicked cold I caught while traveling last year, I added garlic to the mix. Since then, my family has cycled through two colds while I have remained cold free. Worth the stank.Peace.

This is the absolute best thing I've ever used to treat a cold. Garlic has known antiviral effects. I've been using it for years, and if I take 3 tablets as soon as I notice cold symptoms and then 2 more every 6 hours for the next 24 hours, the cold never really sets in. If I wait to take it, then I have to keep dosing for 3-4 days until I'm better (which is still better than the week+ colds last without this). But don't take it all the time, if you do it will lose its effectiveness.

I take garlic because mosquitos love to feast on me. It for sure helps keeps the mosquitos away. HOWEVER, the ad clearly states these are odor free, which it is not. Maybe you can't smell the garlic coming out of my pores. But you can sure smell it in the pills. They are hard to swallow because the smell and taste is so strong. I almost throw up every time. Instead, next time I will purchase the 1000mg gel caps and take 2. Those don't have the smell or taste.

Works well for my health. To controll my period.
