Pangea Large Adjustable Snake Hook

This hook is sturdy and long enough (with telescoping) to keep a snake from being able to strike you. Shipping was fast, which is a plus when ordering, i'd defintely recommend ordering it.

This thing is tiny, and extremely cheap in construction. The most weight it would hold might be 8-10 ounces. Using it to manage the butt-end of a 6 or 7 ft. rattler is not in the cards. This would break, and cause you more trouble than anything else. Yes, it expands to about 40", which is the bare minimum you need for a serious snake, but at that length it's incredibly thin as it is telescopic and by the time you get out to 40", the weight/strength of the hook is so impeded that you might as well be using a bent paper clip to try and pick up the reptile. PASS ON THIS.

as a snake owner i appreciate having this tool just in case. it’s a little on the questionable side when it comes to sturdiness but i’m sure it’ll hold up unless it’s under a lot of strain

Was very light but can't withstand weight. will brake with ease. it must be used with lighter snakes.pros: light weight, compact; can be folded.cons: not very sturdy, brakes and bends with weight.overall i feel this is small and light weight hook is not a permanent substitute for a sturdy traditional hook.

Broke the first time I used it. But it is a low priced snake hook. It does telescope as promised so that’s a positive thing.

cheap quality but it will work for my baby royal python. When my snake gets bigger i'll have to replace it

Absolute garbage, do not buy this. Really cheap and flimsy. Fell apart on me trying to catch a rattlesnake. Do yourself a favor and buy something you can count on
