Fits and looks great in my 2021 Audi e-tron. No instructions are included, but watching the video here on installation is helpful. The e-tron handle has a slightly different mounting clip than what is show in the video. Basic steps are: 1. Remove the plug, which can be done with the included angled flat tool 2. You will want two small, flat screwdrivers to insert into the hole and pinch the tabs together, releasing the clip. You could use the included angled tool, but I found with the angle of the tool I could not insert the tool as far as necessary, so used my own two small screwdrivers. I also tried a pair of flat needle-nosed pliers, but they were just barely too large to work properly. If you have a fairly small needle nosed pliers, that would work well too. 3. On my e-tron, the clip stayed with the handle. Once you pinch the clip, just pull on that end of the handle until it pops out. Do the other side, then you are done with removal of the handle. 4. Insert the clips for the sunglass holder, clip side first, hole side facing out so you can put in the screw. The clips will be kind of loose until you insert and tighten the screw. 5. Line up the sunglass holder, then insert the screw and tighten with the included Philips screwdriver. 6. Snap the included clip covers into place. 7. Enjoy your sunglass holder in your Audi! Overall it is pretty easy, but for the e-tron, it works best if you have two small flat screwdrivers to release and hold both ends of the clips so you can remove each end of the handle. I'll report back if I have any failures like others have reported, but with gentle use, I don't see that being a problem. You can't pull on this thing too hard ... it's not as sturdy as the handle would be. I can remove my sunglasses with one hand while driving -- pretty easy. Putting the sunglasses away it is easier with two hands.

A very nice upgrade for vehicles without sunglass holders. Looks like OEM. Easy to install, and math the color of the interior, perfect size and functionality.

The light gray is a perfect color match for the light gray Audi interior. From the pictures I thought it looked nearly cream colored but it's right on. There are no instructions sent in the package. You will have to refer The the instructions in the listing. The spring retainer clips that are supposed to snap into the holes of the car can't hold themselves in on there own and kept falling out when I to install the glasses holder. I ended up putting the screws through the glasses holder then threading them into the spring retainer clips just a bit. Pushed them into their holes and tightened them in place. It's a bit fiddley but was still fairly easy. Also, I was under the impression that it was a damper/slow close type of hinge but it snaps shut pretty fast. Video attached to review. Was almost a 5 star but those couple issues kept it from that. My sunglasses are pretty big and they fit no problem. Looks like it should do the trick pretty well. The big test will be how it handles a Phoenix summer.

I ordered two of these for my A3, and while the video was helpful, I have a few extra tips. For starters, removing the old grab handle is easier with two tools, as shown in the video. Unfortunately, the kit only comes with one, so I suggest ordering two (one for the passenger side, and one for the driver), that way you get two tools. Removing the existing handle is definitely the hardest part of the job. I found it easier to stick the removal tools in the rounded hinge end of the cover, rather than at the top like they show in the video. Also, once the cover is suffiently loose, I was able to get the handle off with a good yank. One other thing you should be aware of once you remove the handle, the old clips can be difficult to remove. They are spring metal, and if you aren’t careful with them, they will fly off your needle nose pliers into the body of the car (which happened to me). I’m not sure where it went, but it doesn’t seem to be rattling, so I just left it. Installing the cover is relatively straightforward in comparison. Make sure you push the white plastic pieces straight in - not at an angle. I would recommend using a magnetic tipped Philips head screwdriver (with a long handle, so you hand doesn’t block your view). Otherwise, holding the cover open and starting the screw can be a little tricky. Once you get it in, this is a quality piece, worthy of your German car. They even provide small plastic tabs to cover the exposed screw heads, not that you can really see them anyways. Lots of attention to detail. I gave it five stars, because it is not their fault that the old handle is hard to get out. As far as sunglasses go, be aware that the holder works better with flat sunglasses than curved ones. I have a pair of curved glasses, and the case doesn’t quite close all the ways.

Great case, fits perfectly in the hop handle space for my Q3 2022. Looks great and has a slim design. Easy access during driving. I highly recommend it.

Easy to install even though i lost one of the brackets that came with the original grab handle inside the main frame when i tried to remove the grab handle haha. No need to worry though the box comes with all the tools, brackets and screws needed to install the sunglass case. I’ll just worry about the other bracket if i ever decide to reinstall the grab handle. I most likely wont though because the color matches perfectly to my car and this is a better use of space anyways. The sunglass case is great and can even fit my giant bug eye sunglasses.

Works a treat in later Audi models which don't have the sunglasses holder in the overhead center console.

There is no one tool for installation (for removal of metal brackets), for this reason taking out one bracket with hands it springs back and flew into the hole and now it rattles during the trip inside the rack, to take it out is not possible!!!!. In general, the video does not correspond to reality!!! This is a hoax! This gadget installs completely differently and do not watch the video it is false! In general, the accessory is of high quality, I recommend it. But very angry that they did not warn about problems with removal of the metal bracket!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬In addition, I don’t understand how to insert new brackets (ears) into these holes without fear that they will fly through there just like the first one. In general, if anyone has a video, please send it. I see that this is the best offer on the market, but apparently I will be forced to return it if I don’t come up with a solution to this issue.Three years ago I already installed a similar gadget in my Audi Ku 5 2018 and everything took no more than 15 minutes, simple and easy and I was happy, but now I have a new Ku 5 and I can’t install this gadget. It’s also infuriating that one metal ear fell into a hole and now rattles while driving a car.
