Not Sally but good enough for the money

Similar to other people, the seat broke after 2 years of regular use. It's in the same place too. In addition, it was very uncomfortable when I was using it. There isn't much of a cushion and so I could only sit on it for about an hour before needing to get up. Leaving me saddle sore for a while. The seat I replaced it with is still a saddle stool, but not a split seat, it has much more cushioning and is vastly more comfortable. It was essentially the same price at $200 from a company called Massage Tools. I can't recommend this over comparable seats at the same price.

This chair showed up in a search for a kitchen stool suitable for helping a moderately disabled man (me, with lower back issues -- stenosis and sciatica, primarily) remain active in the kitchen. Assembly was a breeze, and in just a few minutes I was sitting on it, adjusting the tilt and height and starting to become accustomed to its novel seat design.Next thing I know, I hear a snap, and fall over backwards onto the floor. Fortunately didn't hit my head on anything, but having a bad back I'm certainly not feeling my best after that. (In case you wonder, I'm around half of the advertised weight capacity.)The five-armed base snapped in two places, as you can see in the photo.Amazon is shipping a replacement chair, and I'm returning this one. I'll update this review once the second one gets assembled and gets some daily use.

Very nice chair. Comfortable and easy to assemble. Purchased for use in a dental office.

The chair is very well made, with high quality cushion and sturdy heavy base. But after months of trial, neither me nor my husband would use it for work. It would be great if you have an adjustable desk or do work on other elevated surface.When you sit on it, the leaning forward angle and spliting will force your back straight. The presure from body weight is put mainly on the inner thigh istead of the ischial tuberosity. In the mean time, it will also force your neck straight and you will be too tall to work on anything that is spread flat on a normal height desk. I got spit keyboard and laptop stands to go with this chair. The perfect use would be in the OR infront of a microscope.It is good for your spine and ventilates the genital area well. I feel tired after 2 hours of sitting on it and will have to stand up and walk around. There might be some pain in the inner thigh.It will worth it if you plan this as part of a full office upgrade.

So I bought this chair for my husband, who sits at a computer all day for work and at home. He has been having the worst back pain, and we have tried everything, cushions, getting better normal office chairs, a back stretcher, massages, and nothing has helped. He is on the heavier side, being around 350 lbs. I received the chair today and I am confident he will love it. even if it doesn't help him, I sat it in for 2 minutes and found it to be the comfiest chair ever. So I will not be sending this back, no matter what happens.Update: One of the legs twisted when my husband used it for one day, making the wheel not level with the others. He almost fell backwards. My husband is a little heavier, but not the 600lb limit the thing claims. I loved that chair, and considered keeping it, but it was for him. I would still buy this again. it was a weird chair and it was fun, and not everyone will have the same situations. If you are a little heavier, this might not be the product for you.

I am a general dentist and I’ve been using this chair for over a year now. It’s been great, it helps a great deal for sitting in an good ergonomic position.

Better than I expected! Worth the money given how much I sit at my computer.
