I am a very fit and athletic person, and have been ever since I was little. I do lots of HIIT workouts, play sports of all kinds, and am an avid hiker (CO’s 14ers) and hunter. With all of these, but especially with the longer or more intense hikes, I have always struggled with cramping, primarily in my quads/hammies/calves. I sweat a TON, and my sweat is very salty (dog loves to lick me after a workout and sweat tastes extremely salty), so I know I lose sodium and electrolytes in a hurry when I’m active. I always chalked it up to not being hydrated enough, but last summer I was hiking the Incline in Colorado Springs when I began cramping. I drank a bunch of water, but a few minutes later was peeing out clear liquid. Based on the color of my urine, it would suggest I was extremely well hydrated, but in fact I wasn’t hydrated at all. I had so little sodium in my body from sweating it out that I couldn’t retain any of the water I drank. I popped about 5 of these pills, and I’m not kidding, I literally felt my leg cramps dissipate and disappear entirely within about 5-10 minutes. These have been a lifesaver on intense hikes/workouts ever since. These replenish the lost sodium and electrolytes, allowing my body to retain water and prevent cramping. Now I can go hard and sweat a ton WITHOUT cramping, which for the first 30 years of my life was not the case. I cannot recommend these enough to those who struggle with cramping/excessive sweating like me. Absolute lifesaver! Also they’re easy to swallow and the electrolytes are in a powder form contained inside a veggie capsule, so you never taste the salt.

I tried this and I was pretty skeptical because most supplements out on the market just don't do anything. This is the first supplement I've tried that actually does something for once. Before using this product I would get horrible cramps when running, my muscles would lock-up when weight lifting, and I would be very sore after a few minutes of working out. This product has really helped me to enjoy my workouts. I no longer get cramps while running, in fact I can now run until my shins give out (Truly amazing that just one pill before my workout can do something like this). Also I am able to keep working out for hours with no pain (Please note I also stack with creatine, but it really does help). Only thing I feel is the soreness from DOMS 2 days later but that's always been the case with my body. I highly recommend this product, I can't workout without it. I'm being serious like before I wouldn't be able to run for 5 minutes without feeling stabbing pains under ribcage due to horrible cramps I would get. Now I just take a pill before I workout and I can run until I get tired. I know I'm repeating myself here, but this is pretty incredible for me. Give it a try if you're having problems with cramps or looking for a slight endurance edge.

I am giving this a try in prep for another half marathon to supplement what I already use. This review is one week into using this product. In comparison shopping and usage, between this and another product that fizzes when in water - which I do not like bubbles in my gut when running - so far this electrolyte supplement has worked well. I am taking one daily, 30 mins before the run or cross-training on concept II. I have found that for closer to immediate results, I keep this rolling around my tongue until the shell begins to soften - almost ready to open up. Roughly 10 mins after than I feel a little head rush which is pretty cool. This I have done for the two times I hit it hard out the door for hill work, and before a 2k time trial on the erg. For longer runs with the goal of faster splits each mile up to seven, there is not much left at the end as far as I can tell as far as advantage of using this on one capsule only. Next week I plan to have an additional capsule with me and take it right around mile 6 and see how this goes. These is no stomach issues at all, is packaged well and leaves no aftertaste/afterburn. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have no way to verify their claims, so only three stars. I don't rank any product I cannot test for veracity higher than three. These supplement vendors need to produce 3rd party verification. Three stars. Only three.

I have been taking multiple individual electrolytes daily here in the Arizona heat for years but for some strange reason this year due to sweating so much more I was having horrible hamstring and leg cramps. I tried upping doses of potassium and other electrolytes etc. nothing helped still was having them in the middle of meetings at work, through my daily travels as an RN case manager, and sick of having it happen multiple times each night! Bottom line, decided to try this supplement and have not had one since starting it I am sold, not to mention the fact, that it is cheaper to buy Everything together like this than it is individually as I was doing don’t know what the difference is but you can bet I will be continuing to buy this product as long as it works as well as it has been so far.
