Awesome product
Works great! Made of metal. Used it to attach my wide angle lens

Yes it works, but...
Yes it works, but when you try to remove it, it is extremely difficult to unscrew. A little oil rubbed into the threads before you use it helps a lot, but even then you don't want to tighten it down too much. If you intend to keep it attached permanently, the ring is fine.

Hard to get off of lens some times. But not much choice of step-down rings. I use with a macro adapter on my tele zoom. A SMALL dusting and wiping of graphite powder and it comes off of the lens easier.

Spend a few more $ and go with the Sensei Pro version
This Sensei step down ring was difficult to thread into my lens. Once installed it was extremely difficult to remove. For a few dollars more I ordered the Pro version that, among other things, is knurled for easy installation/removal. Save your money, go Pro.

Not a 58mm to 55mm
Says its a 58mm to 55mm it's not not even sure what mm thread this is because it doesn't fit in anything
