I purchased the Frontier Co-op Ginger Root Powder to reduce inflammation. It is also good for the digestive system and pain.I put ginger in our morning smoothies, usually about 1/4 teaspoon. We have never had any problems with it.I buy in the larger package, because we use it so much and this makes it cheaper.It is organic and non-irradiated.

Made a tea with honey, turmeric, ginger and honey for inflammation. Easy to use. Love it. Can be used alone for ginger tea.

I’ve ordered this several times and it is always a nice, fresh, quality product. It’s always got great color, aroma, and potent flavor. Great size for the money. I’m never disappointed by Frontier Co-op’s spices and herbs.

Never thought I'd be writing a review for ground ginger, but figured something that lasted over 2 years is worth reviewing. Was shocked to realize that I bought this in April 2020 and finally ran out in Sept 2022.For context, I mainly use it to substitute for fresh ginger in Thai curries (mostly panang curry). It's not as potent as fresh ginger, but here's a rule of thumb that has worked for this use case:1 teaspoon of fresh ginger ~ 1 Tablespoon of ground gingerThis large difference would normally be an issue, but there's so much powder in 1 bag that the less potent taste can be compensated by simply increasing the quantity used without running out quickly. Again, this is how I use it for curry, so your mileage may vary.Only real complaint is that I wish the bag was recyclable, so 4 Stars instead of 5.

I love this Organic Ginger Root Powder It is very fragrant & has a strong & smooth ginger taste/good potency. It’s packaged well in a seal pouch. Ginger has many health benefits and is great for digestive health. I use a lot of ginger in my cooking as well as making tea. This is a very good purchase as it is Organic, Potent & a large quantity which can last me a while.

I've seen reports of weak ginger root powder being sold on Amazon but this certainly ain't it. Even just a teapoon in a mug with hot water for ginger tea will make me cough on that first sip if I let it steep too long (I only started drinking ginger tea recently, previously only using ginger root capsule supplements, so I'm not quite used to it yet but I feel great for the reminder of the day after drinking it when I used to frequently have nausea) but I love "ginger burn" in my throat and this will give you that. I recommend this if you want a good, strong ginger root powder.
