Worked great to connect our two sets of midi foot pedals to the sound module rack.

I picked up this 2-pack of 5-pin DIN MIDI cables to connect my mini keyboard to other equipment. The cables feel well-made, with secure connectors and a decent length for my setup. However, they didn't work with my mini keyboard. After some troubleshooting, I believe the issue lies with the keyboard itself, possibly due to its specific MIDI implementation or settings.It's a reminder that MIDI compatibility can vary between devices, especially when mixing older and newer gear. These cables seem reliable, but it's essential to ensure your equipment supports standard 5-pin MIDI connections.

So it is true that digital is either on or off. Done. Analog is a different beast altogether… there are a lot of variables. MIDI and MIDI Cables are Digital so expensive high quality cables to extract every nuance in music isn’t necessary here. Compatibility and reliability are more important in the digital spectrum. Functionality and length, do they pack and unpack easily or is this a permanent install. Those are what I consider when I buy a Digital Cable such as these MIDI cables. Are they going to last? Did they click ever so satisfyingly into my Roland Keyboard, did they add to latency because of interference that isn’t shielded? Those are the things I look for in a MIDI cable. These clicked, they fit, there is no added latency because they are shielded, and they were a good price and the right length. Done, Done and Done!
