Expression Home XP-2100 Print/Scan/Copy Wi-Fi Printer, Black

I had a professional printer with all in one including fax, scan tray, automatic 2 side printing etc so I came from top spec to mid range naturally I am bias and noticed a difference. I think the printing quality is not overwhelming, it's ok it's neat but not the best I've seen. However I bought it because it's compact the ink is cheap and as I don't print much that's the best solution. The feeding paper system is a bit of a pain and sometimes hit and miss but if you don't print much, like me, that should not be a bother. All in all it does it's job but not the most convenient. Installing...well...I mean I use it on mac and windows but there is a huge difference between the systems...a lot of apps and drivers needed. It would have been easier to build a single app that does all rather than 1 for scanning 1 for printing 1 for photos etc. Again it's good for a couple of pages here and there.

Bought this for WFH . I am a technophobe so got my wife to set up . The instructions are good apart from the section of WiFi .My wife almost got to blows with tech support saying she did not know what she was doing , which she did not hence calling them.All sorted now up and running with no issues.Goid quality for the money

This is not only the worst printer ever made, it’s possibly the worst product I’ve ever bought in any category. Just horrible. Takes ages to set up because it’s mind bogglingly complicated and non intuitive. And then if you manage eventually to set it up without self harming or divorcing your partner because you’re so pissed off, it’s a nightmare to operate. No screen means having to operate through terrible apps which don’t work properly - and lights constantly blinking without having the faintest idea what they mean. I hate this printer with such venom, that when I finally came to my senses, I smashed it up with a hammer. (Seriously). Most cathartic thing I’ve done in years. Bought an HP Envy - and just brilliant. Setup in 1 minute and works like a dream. DO NOT BUY THIS EPSOM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!

I purchased this printer in November 2020. Since the purchase I had issues with it related to printing quality (very pale print) and paper jams, or it simply did not print. A year on, it finally broke down completely. Very poor quality, I suspect the item was used and faulty from the start.

When I first purchased this item it took forever to get it connected to the EPSON WiFi. Eventually it worked, then it was installing ink cartridges that became challenging (it currently has a permanent red light). I decided to persevere as it was printing ok. For 2 weeks now, I am having issues again with connection, I consistently followed the instructions (including YouTube tutorials) to no avail! The frustration is real😩

Used this series of printer from day 1, and this one was just as good as all the rest. Easy to set up, and easy to use. Quiet, excellent print quality but ink a bit pricey.

I have only had this printer for a few weeks and have hardly used it yet, so I can only comment on my first impressions. I ordered the Epson XP 2100 for domestic use as a friend had recommended Epson for its separate colour cartridge system. I saw that a CDRom was provided, and as I do not have a built in Disk drive, I bought an external drive especially to set up the printer. It arrived with a number of guide and instruction books in small print. I found it quite hard pick out the instructions I needed, so went straight to the CDRom instructions. I followed the instructions to the best of my ability but it would not print. The next time I tried to get to grips with the instructions, I discovered that I could have downloaded them from the Internet without buying a Disk Drive. However, it may be useful for other occasions. I wanted to take out the cartridges to double check I had removed all the protective shields but I could not get the cartridge carrier to move into an appropriate position. After leaving it for a few days, I tried again and this time the cartridges were easy to remove and replace. I had in fact removed all the protective shields. After replacing the cartridges, the printer was making noises that sounded as if it was trying to feed through paper but could not get a grip. I took out the paper and replaced it. Eventually, after turning it off and on a few times and taking out the paper and replacing it, it suddenly oriented a sample document. The next day it was still working fine. I have no idea why it was not working previously. Maybe I jiggled something in the process of replacing the cartridges or the paper. This all occurred during Lock Down regulations and if I had been able to buy the printer from a store with an experienced assistant on hand, my experience may have been quite different.

Quite technical to use . Found it hard to adjust to at first. Would not be my first choice to buy again. It also needs a good WiFi . However once you get used to it it gets better .

I bought this primarily for the scanner, and I don't know about you, but how can they produce a printer scanner combo and sell it for 50 odd bucks, yet a stand alone scanner is 200+ 🤷‍♂️ As a scanner, it works great, easy software to setup. Prints photos really well, far better than my colour laser. I've only printed maybe 10 pages of colour, the included cartridges are still showing full, but I'm not expecting miracles. Wifi printing from other PC's and my phone has been flawless.

Der Drucker selber ist schnell aufgebaut und die Installation geht realtiv schnell. Man kann diese Verbindung via normalen USB Kabel ( was man leider extra kaufen muss) oder WLAN( klappte bei mir sehr schnell.

Facile d'installation et d'utilisation, je réussis même d'imprimer depuis mon smartphone ! Le prix est également attractif pour cette qualité d'impression.
