B450 GAMING PLUS MAX

This is a great motherboard for if you want to get into the market for the ryzen CPU's. When I purchased this board it was already updated so there was no need to try and flash the BIOS to the latest version which saved me a lot of headaches and the like. But if your board does require for you to flash it does come with the option to flash it with only a USB which means that you will not need a previous generation ryzen chip to be able to flash it. (if that doesn't work I think AMD is still lending CPU's so you can flash it) Everything on the board was clearly labeled and was easy to use to I was able to get my rig up and running very relative ease, although I did have some issue with my PCI wifi adapter not staying in the slot. this was for testing before I finally screwed it all down so shouldn't be an issue or deal breaker. The placement of all other ports such as fan headers or usb headers were all placed in ergonomic locations so cable management was easy enough though your results may vary. The I/O was more than enough as it came with 4 USB 3.2 slots; 2 USB 2.0 slots; Audio in and out jacks Gigabit lan port These were all I needed as I dont have too many peripherals that I use with my pc anyway. I would definetely recommend this board if your pockets aren't all that deep but you still want a reliable product.

Awesome little board stronger than most

I wanted a board to be Ryzen 3000 series compatible out of the box and this works flawlessly. I was torn between buying this board or the MSI Tomhawk Max, I went for this one due to the extra standard USB port, there are 6 on this and only 5 (plus a type C which I have no use for ) on the Tomahawk Max. This is a really well laid out board with very clear instructions, the Bios seems really well done and is easy to navigate and was a breeze to install and setup. Everything worked first time and paired with my Ryzen 3600X it's a joy to use. Highly recommended

Works as it should. other than the jumper pins, pretty much plug and play as connectors are around the same locations as my old board. doesnt have flashy led's for a gaming motherboard if thats something you are looking for.

Used this motherboard for my first gaming pc build and I've gotta say it's a really good board, the bios is easy to navigate, it has plenty of space to fit a cpu cooler next to the ram slots, I will say there's only 1 space for an m.2 ssd, however that's not much of an issue because you only really need the one. There are enough fan headers to accommodate a basic setup, the bios shield was also very easy to install which was a nice surprise as I'd been told in the past that it's a difficult part to install. Overall I'm really happy with this motherboard.

For the price that this motherboard sits at, there are few motherboards that are on equal footing with this. This motherboard is ryzen 3rd gen ready out of the box (Works perfectly with my Ryzen 5 3600), and is very easy to install. The CPU fan bracket is easy to handle and is overall great value for money. If you aren't looking to drop a lot of money for a motherboard, then this is a perfect motherboard to use in AM4 builds.

Decent motherboard, for the price.

Unfortunately for me this product was faulty! Had to buy another motherboard which worked first time. Caused some stress as it was my first ever build and thought my processor was faulty. But no matter what I tried this did not work. Also was missing a few things from the box so had to purchase separate sata cables to find the mobo was faulty in the end. That being said I did purchase this item at a reduced price with the possibility of there being a fault although the ad said it was slightly damaged packaging, yet the box itself was in excellent condition. Seemed as though it was a returned item and resold!

La scheda madre MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max è una scheda madre con socket AM4 e chipset B450, chipset di livello medio, per processori AMD Ryzen delle prime tre generazioni oppure per processori Athlon con grafica Radeon Vega oppure processori Ryzen di seconda generazione con grafica integrata. Sebbene il chipset B450 non supporti nativamente i Ryzen di terza generazione (quelli il cui modello inizia con 3, come ad esempio il Ryzen 5 3600), questa scheda arriva già con l'aggiornamento del BIOS che abilita il supporto per questa famiglia di CPU. Le dimensioni fisiche della scheda sono conformi allo standard ATX e dunque è compatibile con tutti i case che dichiarano di poter ospitare le schede ATX. Le caratteristiche principali sono, con alcuni commenti: - supporta quattro slot di memoria DDR4 a doppio canale, con frequenza massima in base alla CPU installata - è dotata di slot PCI Express 3.0 x16, quindi non lo standard più veloce (4.0 attualmente), tuttavia anche installando un Ryzen di terza generazione, che supporta PCIe 4.0, c'è retrocompatibilità - lo slot PCIe 3.0 è rinforzato con una struttura di metallo per ridurre rischi dati dal peso delle schede video tuttavia nelle istruzioni è comunque consigliato, in caso di GPU pesanti, di usare un supporto aggiuntivo per evitare eccessivo sforzo sul connettore PCIe - sono presenti un'ulteriore slot PCIe 2.0 x16 e quattro PCIe 2.0 x1, tuttavia il x16 funzionerà a x1 se si intalla qualcosa negli altri slot x1; supporta Crossfire 2-way - è possibile usare CPU con grafica integrata, con output DVI-D o HDMI e massima memoria condivisa di 2 GB - è dotata di slot M.2 su PCIe 3.0 x4 e sei porte SATA 6 GB/s, tuttavia solo quattro porte funzioneranno se si installa un SSD nello slot M.2 (in pratica, due si disattivano installando un M.2) - è dotata di porte USB 3.2 Gen2, Gen1 e 2.0. Sul pannello frontale del case sarà possibile portare solo 3.2 Gen1 o 2.0. - il controller LAN è un Realtek 8111H fino a 1 Gbps mentre l'audio integrato è fornito da un codec Realtek ALC892 fino a 7.1 canali - fornisce internamente connettori per 5 ventole a 4 pin (compresa quella della CPU) e per una pompa nel caso di impianti di raffreddamento a liquido. Ogni ventola sarà regolabile in maniera indipendente in base alla temperatura del punto target scelto (CPU, ambiente, chipset, MOS), sia in PWM sia in tensione - fornisce due header per LED RGB a 4 pin e 12 V, personalizzabili con l'applicazione Mystic Light. Da notare che si possono comandare LED a 4 pin, quindi le classiche strisce o barrette, ma NON i LED RGB indirizzabili a 3 pin e 5 V, e che i due header non sono indipendenti (cioè faranno stessi effetti/colori contemporaneamente) - il backplate I/O è fornito nella confezione e va installato a parte sull'apposito rettangolo nel retro del case, eventualmente rimuovendo prima quello della vecchia scheda madre (l'incastro è a semplice pressione) - backplate e supporto per dissipatore CPU sono invece preinstallati - è presente una scritta Gaming Plus retroilluminata con LED rossi apparentemente non disattivabile e non personalizzabile. L'installazione e il montaggio sono molto semplici. La vite per l'SSD M.2 è in un microscopico sacchettino da qualche parte nella scatola: ho perso del tempo a cercarla perché si era incastrata in una piega del cartoncino... Consiglio di installare fin da subito l'ultimo BIOS disponibile attualmente, ovvero la versione H5 del 7 novembre 2019, che migliora in maniera considerevole i tempi di avvio (senza questa versione, occorre aspettare anche un minuto solo alla scheramata col logo MSI del BIOS). In caso di installazione di Windows, consiglio inoltre di installare il driver per B450 scaricabile dal sito AMD, che non viene installato da Windows (almeno nel mio caso) e il software MSI Command Center, che consente di monitorare lo stato della scheda madre e di personalizzare alcuni parametri, come il comportamento delle ventole in base alla temperatura o tensioni di CPU e memorie (da modificare con attenzione e solo se sapete cosa state facendo, pena possibili danni permanenti all'hardware). Durante l'uso, dopo aver installato i vari driver disponibili, il sistema risulta stabile e senza blocchi/schermate blu/impuntamenti vari, anche in condizioni di carico gravoso, come stress test fatto dopo l'assemblaggio per diverse ore. Attualmente la uso con un Ryzen 7 3700X, che riesce a tenere sui 4.0 GHz su tutti i core e una AMD RX 5700XT. Riassumendo, si ha una buona scheda madre, con prezzo ragionevole anche per i Ryzen più recenti di terza generazione. Infatti per questi Ryzen i chipset più recenti (es: X570) sono installati su schede madri di fascia più alta, mentre non ci sono chipset aggiornati di fascia media. Questa scheda, avendo il BIOS già aggiornato di fabbrica, consente di poter usare una scheda di fascia media sulle CPU più recenti con svantaggi modesti (come il mancato supporto a PCIe 4.0). La scheda, essendo di fascia media, ha alcune limitazioni (come le due porte SATA che si disattivano se si usa SSD M.2) o componenti medie, come il codec audio ALC892, che non è il top, o mancanti, come Wi-Fi o raffreddamento attivo di chipset o slot M.2. Tuttavia, si può ottenere un sistema solido e aggiornato con una spesa più contenuta, eventualmente investendo la differenza in altri componenti migliori.

Great for a desktop build

La MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX es el modelo inmediatamente superior a la versión no-MAX. Una de las principales diferencias con la misma es que de fábrica soporta los nuevos AMD Ryzen 3000. Tras montar un ordenador R5 2600 + GTX 1050ti en este modelo de placa puedo dejar mis primeras impresiones sobre la misma. A primera vista llama la atención su apariencia gaming, como lo indica el propio nombre. Más allá de eso, tenemos unas letras "Gaming Plus" en la parte inferior de la placa que se iluminan en rojo. Me llama la atención que se pueda utilizar para ello la aplicación móvil de MSI Mystic Light. Esto nos va a servir para sincronizar la iluminación con la de otros periféricos o componentes de la marca que poseamos. La BIOS es lo suficientemente completa como para poder tocar de todo un poco, desde velocidad de ventiladores hasta overclock (Manual, offset...). Personalmente no he tenido oportunidad de overclockear mi procesador todavía, pero he visto opiniones y no lo pintan mal. Más allá de las características de la placa (Para cajas ATX, socket AM4, chipset B450...) os dejo con los mejores y peores aspectos de la placa en mi opinión: Ventajas: - Muy buen precio, más aún al comprarla en Ofertas Flash o Black Friday. - Buenos VRM para hacer overclock, si lo comparamos con otras placas de la misma linea de precios. - Botón en la parte trasera para actualizar la BIOS para soportar próximas generaciones de procesadores (quizás Ryzen 4000) sin tener que usar temporalmente un procesador de generación anterior para llevar a cabo la actualización. - USB 3.2 por detrás y puerto M.2, aunque personalmente no he probado la velocidad del mismo en profundidad (La marca promete velocidades de hasta 32 Gbps) - Uno de los puertos PCI-E reforzado con acero para no doblarse con tanta facilidad al colocar una tarjeta gráfica muy pesada Desventajas: - Por nombrar alguna decir que la iluminación de dicha palabra "Gaming Plus" no es RGB. Igualmente desentonaría en un color diferente al rojo, por el color de la placa. En definitiva, una compra recomendada para un presupuesto de ordenador de 500-600€ aprovechando que en este momento precios muy competitivos en memoria RAM y tarjetas gráficas.

Ein Upgrade stand bevor und mit meinem bisherigen Board war ich auch nicht zufrieden. Also musste was neues her. Budget waren ca. 150 € mit Prozessor. Dieses Board hat ein wunderbares Layout, lies sich problemlos installieren. Das BIOS ist übersichtlich und das Board läuft stabil. Es hat alle nötigen Sensoren und Anschlüsse, so dass meine 3 Gehäuselüfter auch problemlos angeschlossen wurden und vom System gesteuert werden. Ich habe hier keine Hochleistungstests gemacht, was ich wollte war endlich ein stabiles Board. Mit dem Vorgänger hatte ich diverse Soundprobleme, BootProbleme, etc. Zwar habe ich alles neu aufgesetzt, doch zum Test lief auch die alte Betriebssysteminstallation (WIN10) ganz hervorragend. Verbaut ist aufgrund des Budgets ein AMD Ryzen 5 4500. Übertaktet habe ich hier nichts, lediglich XMP aktiviert, damit der RAM richtig läuft, was auch bei dem Vorgänger (nicht MSI) nur Probleme gemacht hat. Sicher bewerte ich das Board auch mit den Fehlern des Vorgängers im Hinterkopf. Sicher habe ich keine Detaillierten Messungen gemacht, was irgendwelche Geschwindigkeiten betrifft. Das ist rein subjektiv und ich finde alles immer noch sehr langsam, da ich zum Arbeiten einen MAC nutze und der einfach gefühlt viel reaktiver ist. Das ist ein reiner Gaming PC und da macht das Ding was es soll und seinem Namen alle Ehre. Gerne wieder MSI, bin positiv überrascht. Statt der DVD mit den Treibern lieber einen USB Stick reinpacken, denn wer bitte hat noch ein DVD Laufwerk im PC? Dafür ist ein gedrucktes Handbuch (ich ein Buch, kein Zettel) dabei. Hoffe das hilft Euch weiter.
