Does the 3pc backdrop kit come with the stand?

Yes, this item package include: 1 x 1.6*3m Black Backdrop 1 x 1.6*3m White Backdrop 1 x 1.6*3m Green Backdrop 1 x 2m Stand 1 x 2m Stand 3 x Cross bars 3 x Clamps 1 x Carry Bag for Background Stand

I don’t need it all this big, is it adjustable to go smaller?

The uprights are like adjustable light stands, so you can adjust them to any height that you want. Absolutely maxxed out your top rail would be at 2m but a more comfortable and stable height is 1.9m. The top rail is in 3 pieces and the connections are arranged so that you could just use 2 if you wanted, but it's not telescopic so you can only have 2 or 3 nothing in between. 2 gives uprights 138cm apart and 3 gives uprights 205cm apart.
