My son who is 11 and is into old school games enjoyed the Sonic game

So does renewed mean not re-old? This is a cartridge in a very small baggie in a very blue and white plastic envelope. I was not very impressed with the packing.Renewed also means you don’t get anything with it no manual no box just a cartridge in a baggie.I cracked it open to take a look inside to see if anything had been renewed, and it looks like any other GameBoy advance cartridge I’ve ever opened in my collection. Nothing special.The deciding factor in buying this renewed version over a used for $15 less was simply because I needed to get one immediately for my daughter’s birthday. This came with prime Two day shipping, and most used ones do not, And I didn’t want to take a chance on it arriving late.Would I buy an Amazon renewed product again? Absolutely not. The cartridge works and if it Fulfilled it’s purpose of being a gift. Still it’s better than GameStop refurbished.

Stops working after a very short while. Had to open it up to clean it and check it was not a fake. Only helped slightly. Still glitches out and freezes.

There's nothing to dislike with my product. The game plays well and the cartridge is in great shape because of the refurbished quality.
