Good product!!!
Saves time. Warm up tray before putting food in ---food takes time to reach boiling temp---I microwave product and then put in stainless steel containers--needs more containers ---easy to wash up--use for lunch and stays on for dinner on the days that I use it. Buy a crock pot warming tray if you want to cook products instead of warming food.

Great purchase.
It is awesome. Functions really good. Size is perfect for a small gathering. The plate is hot enough and kept everything hot for hours. Worth having one if you have family gatherings or for a small party.

Works very well!
I used a warming tray for the first time this past Thanksgiving. I like a sit down family meal but found it difficult to keep the food hot. This product was perfect! It’s very versatile and you can use it in multiple ways by using the trays or just using the surface tray. At thanksgiving, I used the three trays to hold stuffing, sliced turkey and gravy. I used a separate crock pot to keep the mashed potatoes warm. I had 5 adults and two young children so this setup set up was perfect for our meal. At Christmas time, I put one of my own corningware containers on the warming tray surface to hold slices of prime rib. It kept everything at the perfect temperature. I had 16 adults so using the warming tray this way was very effective! I keep this product in the original box and it stores easily under my bed or in a closet. I highly recommend this as it’s very versatile and functional! Perfect product!

Works Great....But....
I purchased this warming tray in January 2023 (it's now July 2025). We've been using this about one or two times weekly with a regular extension cord. The other day I plugged it in and hear a loud spark and saw a 2 inch flame where the tray cord was plugged into the extension cord, which was brand new. We have another larger Chefman which we always use with a regular extension cord, but just switched to a heavy duty one just in case. This is a good reason to never leave this plugged in unattended. This could be my fault due to the extension cord I used. I'll have to check the user manual. Otherwise it's a great warming tray and has worked just fine.

A better warming tray that what you would think from the description
I looked at a lot of these warming trays. I liked the compact size of this one and it seemed reasonably priced. I questioned the temperature adjustment. You can't tell from the description if the dial 'clicks' onto each setting or if it is a sweep motion. This is a sweep - so you can put the dial between the low and medium or medium and high. I put a thermometer on mine to see what the low setting was - came in just under 100 degrees (F). Couldn't be happier!!!

Works great
After getting it in I tested it with just water in the pans to see how hot it gets. A few reviews said didn't get hot enough. I can say after about 15 minutes on high the water got hot enough to produce steam. Which is plenty to keep things hot. It will come in handy keeping things warm or for parties and family functions.

The Chefman is pathetic. It doesn't heat food.
At the risk of sounding harsh or overstated, the Chefman is an example of arguably everything wrong with business today. The logic: "find a market need and fill it in the name of making a profit, consume our planet's resources, but don't think through whether the product works or whether more things are ending up in our landfills." Here's what I like about the Chefman: 1. The device is presentable and lightweight. (You'll see that this is a fatal flaw.) 2. Fridge magnets do stick to it, suggesting it is stainless steel. 3. Build quality is acceptable, though flimsy. What I don't like about the Chefman: 1. The knob feels like it's going to fall off, and the light turns off whenever it reaches the corresponding "heat" level. 2. The cord is extremely short. How are you supposed to connect it to anything unless you have an extension cord, which poses other kinds of energy and potential safety risks, and introduces added complexity? This is particularly challenging for people trying to host parties and keep a presentable aesthetic. 3. Most importantly, this thing does not work. I must have sat there for an hour monitoring it while it strained to go on high. I even took a thermometer to the base. It reached 165°F. Then, I grabbed a hard-boiled egg from one of the containers, and it wasn't even warm. I made sure to put the containers directly on the base so the frame wasn't elevating them off the base. Then I popped the same food in the microwave for 30 seconds, and it did better than the Chefman. My guess is they're relying on you to use the plastic lids as a heat retention mechanism. But this introduces the issue of microplastics and shows you how poorly they thought about the product design and functionality. They obviously did not think through the physics of heat transfer or test the product for more than one use case. Someone must have touched the surface and thought "oh, I feel heat, let's ship the product." This is what happens when marketing outruns product. I'll be returning this item. Save yourself the trouble, and safe our planet from unnecessary consumption. Do not buy.

This food warmer is awesome, it gives you a steady heat and I use it often when I make different Chinese dishes for my hubby. I really like the adjustable heat feature. It keeps the food pretty warm to hot. It's super handy at home.
