Quality
I initially tried to go cheap with an imitator’s sock for my plantar fasciitis, but I had to return it because it was just that - cheap. The original Strassburg sock is worth the extra cost - you can tell immediately from the materials and construction.

Newer version of sock
This is fine, but not as good as the older version with thicker more cottony fabric. This one is stretchier and therefore not as good as the original. The original works better for my PF rehab, and will last longer with more durable fabric and better stitching, especially at the top hem which rubs against the velcro.

Could not sleep with this on
I could not sleep with this on. It made my plantar faciitis foot hurt more and I tried to adjust the strap so my foot wasn't so flexed so I could gradually work up to it....but I could not losen it enough, the strap was too short. This is just a nylon stocking with a velcrow strap sewed to it. I was not a fan.

Buy this one
This is the best plantar support brave there is. Skip all the generic ones. It has helped. It isn’t a magical cure but with Exercise and PT it’s helped

Band at the top uncomfortable
I find the band very uncomfortable at the top of the sock and could not sleep in it. It reminds me of the surgical compression stockings that roll into a tight band at the top during use. I am wearing it during the day as I cannot move around much anyway and will see how it goes.

Does not maintain tension well
Identical to more expensive products but does not maintain tension well throughout the night. Better to wear for a few hours while awake.
