Crescent RapidSlide 10-Inch Adjustable Wrench

This is a great wrench so easy and quick to adjust with one hand. Only draw back is that it is heavier than a normal wrench. Not a big deal in a tool box, but if you carry a tool pouch all day...

I buy a lot of super-dooper widget wrenches, and am usually disappointed. I've got a box full of good-idea wrenches and pliars that just aren't worth using. I figured this thing had about a fifty-fifty chance, but was very pleasantly surprised. It actually works - and most importantly, it keeps a snug fit on the nut. I went back and bought a full set, and a bunch more for Christmas gifts. My brother says it only saves a few seconds each time you use it, but what a pleasure it is to save those few seconds.

Handy tool. A little bulky and heavy but still handy.

10": Shipment arrived earlier than I expected. Adjusting knob slides easily and wrench locks as it should. I haven't used it on a real live job yet, but testing indicates it should work well.8": shipment arrived earlier than expected, but wrench was defective. Slider didn't work smoothly, which made it hard to adjest accurately. Amazon return process made it very easy to return it and to get a replacement product.The replacement was defective too. On the replacement, the jaw didn't lock. Amazon suggested to return it and get a refund, which I did. Rep I spoke with on the phone said that they would inspect their stock to see if it was a bad batch. Amazon was supposed to let me know when they got in a good batch of product; it's been several weeks and I haven't heard from them. Again, Amazon return process worked easily and correctly.

So-so wrench, did not work out for me, I just did not like it, not as easy to use as I thought, and NOT MADE IN USA.

I saw the washing machine repairman use one of these and asked him about it. It is so convenient -- not hard to adjust like the screw-type wrenches. My hubby love it!

Built like a Tank. But every time you take wrench off nut your hand hits the slide and changes the jaw opening size. When people I do not like ask for a wrnch I now give them the rapid slide!

Décevant, beaucoup de jeu latéral dans les mâchoires, précision de la molette "slide" trés aléatoire...Pourtant l'idée de base me semblait intéressante mais la mise en œuvre n'est, à mon avis , pas à la hauteur de Crescent qui m'avait fait meilleure impression dans le passé.
