Turn Button, Eyelet & Stud, Common Sense Fasteners, Marine Canvas - 3 of Each Piece

Worked great as replacement turn button for my Craftsman felt leaf vacuum bag. Drilled out old riveted turn button in less than 1 second and drilled two small holes through fiberboard backing on felt bag to allow new turn button legs to pass through. When the bag felt material was compressed with a flat screw driver tip, the legs extended through the material and backing enough to be bent over and adequately secure the small metal backing plate included with the turn button. Fully satisfied.

When I placed the order, I noticed a small note that stated that the vendor could provide a version of the product with longer prongs if I contacted them through Amazon's website. This would be done at no additional cost according to the note. Because I was attaching these to a reinforced part of a sail cover for my boat, I decided to request the longer prongs. As promised, the fasteners arrived with a note on the receipt that the longer prong version of the fastener male and female pieces had been provided. The quality is very good and I recommend them to anyone needing a high-quality turn button & eyelet fastening system for their boat or RV. No special tools are needed to install them. I used an awl, standard hammer and a pocket knife.

These seem to be of good quality and were easy to install. I used them to make a new sail cover for my sailboat. All I needed was an exacto knife and a hammer.

I had a fastener rust out on a Craftsman Yard vacuum bag. The replacement bag cost $146. For about $3 bucks I replaced the fastener and bang back in operation. These fasteners/grommets fit very well and now after ten uses I see no deterioration.

The item did not work for my purposes. Not vendors fault as I had no idea the item would be a little short due to thickness of the Craftsman Leaf Vacuum Bag. The two prongs on the Twist Lock fastener just barely protruded through the bag fabric so they could not be bent and hold the item securely on the bag. Still searching for different fastener length.

Fast delivery. Should work well for a up coming project that needs to come apart.
