WORKED WELL BUT WEAK CONSTRUCTION
The worked great when I got them. But the problem is not with audio. It has to do withy the construction of the materials that connects the speakers or ear cups with the headband. I left them in a draw for a couple months while I traveled and upon my return the connections just broke apart from the speakers, no abuse or anything. Both sides too. I threw them away. I was disappointed because I love the Marshall brand and it was sort of retro cool. I hope they can correct this problem. The other issue I had was the headband squeezed my head tightly, wish for better adjustment.

Square ear pads. Less pain.
Hands down the best headphones I have ever owned ever. The ear pads are squareish, which makes it a ton less painful to wear for long periods because they don't push on my glasses making my ears hurt. The sound is great, cord doesn't tangle too much, pause button (wish it had volume too), but I LOVE THESE. If the one's I have break, you can be sure I'm buying them again. Never stop making these Marshall, NEVER.

I really like them but I had to replace my old pair ...
This is my second pair. I really like them but I had to replace my old pair because I sat on them and broke them. They were getting quite old and had survived a lot of abuse so I didn't blame the earphones for breaking, rather, I was so impressed with how much they had hitherto withstood, that I replaced them. The new model is an improvement and I expect them to last longer because the piece that broke has been redesigned.Update:The single button was initially a bit difficult to use and stopped working altogether shortly after I got them. Too bad :-(

punchy and solid bass which serve great for rock and techno genre
I assure you the rubberized cable will start to peel after 1 year regardless of how well you took care of it. Other than that, the sound signature is greatly "bassful", punchy and solid bass which serve great for rock and techno genre. I do find the mid to be slightly muddy and the high to be an average muddy if you are listening to acoustic. Comfort level i would grade it 5/5 because of the thick paddings and a decent quality leather cupping; you will find your ear warm after 40 minutes of usage in an air-con room. Now that my wires have completely eroded, I find it wasteful to just throw away the drivers. A good alternative is to detach the drivers and find a new shell for the can. Hopefully Marshall can improve the quality of their cables.

Bad warranty process, slow customer service: defective product 3 months after purchase
The left side speaker stopped working after 3 months from purchase, but the worse problem was the customer service attitude from Marshall. I contacted them and initially they just asked me a picture of the product, which I send them. They didn't contact me anymore for 2 weeks, I was sending emails asking for news about warranty approval and tracking for shipping of the replacement. I had to open a new ticket to get answers... Then they said it wasn't approved because I had to send pictures of the product DESTROYED. I understand their end, but the thing is...I spent money on their product and it failed on me but I was still using it MONO daily and I didn't want to spend more money on another unit while I waited for the replacement to arrive (which might be weeks since customer service has the practice of ignoring the case and being overall slow). So I proposed that I made a video showing the product's defect, by amping up the volume and recording that it was only emitting sound from the right speaker. Marshall ignored me again and then insisted to say that I should damanage the headphones and send a picture, and wait for them to send the replacement. Here in the US, most companies send the replacement and then the customer sends the old defective unit back to them for analysis. Well, at this point, I couldn't trust Marshall anymore, and I couldn't be without headphones. So I bought a different brand one from amazon and when it arrived, I got artistic and made a video/gif of the process of destruction which they asked me to send. I still haven't heard back from them yet. Seams like Warranty means nothing for Marshall Headphones. I don't recommend this product because if poorly made (although it looks great and works great while it works) and because costumer service won't care about your needs or rights as consumer at all. Seams like you are serving them, not the other way around.

however i wouldn't just put them inside my backpack without like a case or something
I have been using these headphones for about two months so far. The design is slick and portable, plus vintage looking. It bends for portability, however i wouldn't just put them inside my backpack without like a case or something. I am no audiophile, but love speakers that deliver good sound clarity. The sound of this headset is stunning, I would dare to compare them to a bose headset. It also comes with a bigger aux adapter so i can hook it to my keyboard. Definitely does honor the quality name of the marshall brand.

very good sound quality, solid construction
these just arrived and for the past half hour ive been going through my music trying out all different genres and they excel at every single one. These make all other headphones i have ever owned (its a lot) sound like garbage. The lows are rich and deep, the highs are crisp and tangy. The construction of these are also way way better than any other headphones i have owned, im a very happy music addict right now!

The audio quality is OK but the built is very poor
The audio quality is OK but the built is very poor specially the 3.5mm plug - it was slightly bent or not straight upon received. I wish to return this product due to its physical defect but I'm not sure if it is practical to return this from Cebu Philippines back to US :-( unless they have an outlet here locally that i can return this item.
