Love these. Challenging activities but not too impossible….the answers are in the back so you can check on your efforts. Paper quality very good.

I used this book to prepare for SHL inductive reasoning test and it helped me increase my score significantly compared to previous attempts. Also covers numerical and verbal reasoning, but I didn't need it for these tests.

Bought this for my RN test, still yet to take it but this book is really good and had a lot of different test that will prepare me. However only issue is that some answers in the book are wrong example question 4 on page 18

Used when applying to join the Navy my son passed first time only dropping a couple of points off top grade well worth it to boost confidence for application nerves

Some really difficult tests in Numerical Reasoning that you need to be very competent in Mathematics to score well in. The reason for the low stars is there’s too many spurious questions and incorrect answers provided. I think it is still a good book if you are looking to practice such tests.

Great book

This will surely be helpful for people looking to improve on these kinds of puzzles or tests. I like the format of doing tests and then reading an explanation on how to get the correct answer. Unfortunately there are obvious mistakes that make it hard to recommend. Some are just editing mistakes that are easy to spot and don't affect the answers (eg. the wrong prompt is used for a question, but it's easy to figure out what you're supposed to do), but others are incorrect answers in the tests themselves. It seems this book was poorly edited. I've shown a couple examples in the photos. Both are from the non-verbal reasoning section; one is a mistake in a sample question, the other is in one of the tests. These are not the only mistakes I found in this section, and there are mistakes in other sections as well. I haven't been through the whole book since I was hoping to go through the sections I'm already proficient at first and then use the remainder to learn how to do the other types of questions better. After finding mistakes in the sections I know, I'm not confident I'll learn the correct way to do the sections I need more work on. I may think I don't understand how they got the correct answer when the answer itself is wrong. Also be aware that this is written by and for UK English speakers (specifically upper-class UK English speakers). Some of the verbal reasoning questions may not be suitable for North American English or other dialects.

This book is great! It’s a great tool to familiarize yourself with the types of tests given so you know what to expect.
