Still going 4 years later
We have had these almost 4 years and I have to say they are a great investment. They have been used more often than just emergencies. They very rarely been charged by USB. They hold a charge a while and are very bright. Came back 4 years later to add some more to our inventory. A great buy.

Fantastic solar flashlights
I originally bought this 4 pack for my parents when they camp. They liked them so much, they've given away one to each of their camping buddies, and I had to order more. Both for the rest of their camping buddies, as well as to replace the ones they'd given away. The lights have gone through gentle rain unscathed. Mom also keeps one at home on her bedroom window. She likes the light-weight construction. Despite their lightness, they are durable. There are 3 different light selections, which also come in handy. Very simple to use. When my parents had a 36-hour power outage, they used these throughout the house. I first purchased them in July of 2022. After at least 4 purchases of 4-packs, each of them is still going strong, as of Dec 2024. They really only use the solar charging option to juice the battery. If I recall, I think we may have used the plug charger to charge them the very first time. Since then, the lights have sat in the window to charge. I really can't vouch for the phone charging option. My parents don't use it for that. In my opinion, the reliable function of the solar-charging flashlights was, alone, worth the money. Over the years, I've seen the price fluctuate a little. My original purchase was $30 for the 4 pack. I've seen them rise to $40, and I think briefly once to $50, but they dropped back down to $30 in Fall of 2024. I keep them in my Amazon Cart for quick reference, because I can watch the price & will likely order more soon.

Let there be light
These are small but bright lanterns. They are extremely lightweight. Not surprising since the actual working parts [lights, solar panel etc] aren't very large, so the lantern is mostly hollow. The COB light is very, very bright and can light up a room when fully charged; it is a bit harsh, so it should not be directed at anyone's eyes. I prefer the tube light; the opaque white cylinder cover gives a softer light. I can't tell if the tube light is a COB or LED light. The LED flashlight is OK but not super bright. But if you need super bright, you can use the COB light. I ran one for 24 hours and there was still charge left. It wasn't super bright but it was enough to get around in a dark apartment. I left it in a window on a sunny day and it charged up fine. Having been left without power for almost a week after a recent hurricane, my other rechargeable lights all were useless once the charge was used up. Hopefully, these solar lights will avoid that problem. Information not in the seller's listing: The brand is 'Hurry Bolt'. Charge time is listed as 5-6 hours and Lighting time as 5 - 8 hours.

Good buy for money.
Lights work great. Charged first time via USB and since all solar. One quit working almost from start, so far other 3 work fine as lights. USB will not charge my iPhone or Apple products.

Very functional
These are very bright and versatile. I like the three light modes and the solar charging feature. It's a bit bulky if you intend to travel with it but otherwise great for camping or even for use at home.
