I work at a coffee shop and wanted to start making my own cold brew at home too. These bags worked great! I just made my first batch and they help up perfectly. The drawstrings worked well. The bags held up great and I have no grounds in my cold brew. Great price too!

These were super easy to use, they left no detectable coffee grinds or residue in my cold brew, and same for when I used loose tea leaves to make cold brew tea. Clean-up was a breeze, like removing a big used tea bag and just throwing it away. The results were low-acid coffee and tea that tasted great. I use it with an "Oxo" brand 1.78 liter screw-on lid Tritan plastic jar from Amazon. Years ago I used Toddy Cold Brew system for a few years, but that was a time-consuming, messy routine, and I just gave it up. When I saw these filter bags on Amazon, I looked on YouTube for videos that showed how to fill the bags and leave room for water to circulate among the coffee grinds or loose tea leaves, maybe using two half-filled small bags in one jar to make a concentrated brew to dilute with filtered water later to minimize storage space required in the fridge for the finished cold brew coffee or tea. I chose this brand because the description indicates they are made from all-natural fibers, and I assume they are therefore free of forever microplastics and harmful chemicals .

Love these! They’re perfect for my cold brew. I fill out about 2/3 and use two bags in my 2 qt pitcher since I like mine strong. The bags are very well made and you could easily use them as a spice sachet in cooking. It makes my life so much easier not having to clean coffee grounds. I do wish they had a slightly larger mouth just to make it easier to add coffee grounds but otherwise they’re the perfect size.

I had high expectations but didn't anticipate any miracles; I was ecstatically proven wrong because THESE ARE AMAZING!!!!!! I love cold brew, but the premade pouches are expensive and I only found 1 single brand of pouches that never disintegrated... where as the numerous other brands had varying degrees of disintegration. Let me tell you, trying to sift grounds out of your coffee is frustrating and kudos to those who have the time and especially patience to filter with cheesecloth, but for me, it ain't happening. These pouches are simple and easy to use... just cinch closed and loop around a few times beneath the top where it's cinched, pull the string through one of the loops, leave a little length of string to close in the lid and voila, totally secure. It's a HUGE benefit to be able to switch flavors and varieties of grounds without having to spend a small fortune. Plus, the weave is tight so it's not necessary to have your beans coarse ground in order for them not to seep out. The bags have no scent, don't leave any type of flavor, and DO NOT DISINTEGRATE!!! I've converted my entire family into making their own cold brew at home using these bags... even those who loathe iced coffee. The smooth, rich flavor, completely free of acidity (which comes from brewing coffee with heat)... cold brew is heavenly!!! And it feels like a lavish luxury but with these bags it's no more expensive than brewing a pot using filters and definitely not as pricey as those individual little cups. I believe I bought the 4x6 size and these are great if you want a small batch of cold brew so that you can switch up your flavors often. This particular size I 50 g in a bag for a quart of cold brew. They make clean up and brewing very easy.

Even though I hate using disposable things, these are a must-have when making cold brew. The metal strainer I had let in too much sediment. These bags are easy to fill and then dispose of cleanly.

I make cold brew with them every day and have for several years. I've ordered these 13 times here on Amazon. So yeah, they get the job done and I figured I'd finally review them. Nothing fancy. They're reasonably strong. I don't know how big my jar is, but I think it's probably around 48oz. That much water works for a full 4x6 filter of coffee. Apparently they're not exactly 4x6 (a bit smaller), but that's fine with me. I just steep it overnight. More than a day starts to taste weird for me. The filters have never broken. The string has broken maybe a few times out of the 1,300 bags I've used so basically almost never, and only because I was pulling it way too hard. It's better if you have a coarse grinder, otherwise you get a bit more sediment at the bottom.

These are wonderful and an absolute life saver when it comes to making home brewed cold brew coffee! The taste is perfect if you get the timing right and its so easy to just pull and toss and not worry about coffee grounds left behind! It fits in my large jars and my gallon jug with no problem and it makes clean up so easy

These are easy to tie and dispose of. To get a cup of grounds in requires compressing them with a spoon (non-compressed I think it holds about 3/4 cup of grounds), and I did hear one filter bag start to rip open when I packed it too hard, but it didn't actually split and having learned that lesson, I have no issues using them. I'd definitely recommend these.

Perfect for the tub teas I'm making as gifts. Nothing leaks out even when I hold upside down It's just unfortunate that 2 weeks after buying them the 1st time the price has now almost doubled :(
