High Sierra Loop Backpack, Travel, or Work Bookbag with tablet sleeve, One Size, Aquamarine/White/Ash

I love these bags, this is my second one.My first lasted 5 years of much abuse in rain, forrests, beaches, fishing trips, travel. I love them as they have plenty of good pockets, well spaced, the water bottle pocket streches. The inside has some separators that are handy along with key hooks etc. All this and yet its still light and easy to carry and very resistant. The only reason I got a new one is that the zips started not closing well, but given the amount of abuse the bag as had I didn't hesitate in buying another!

We purchased this backpack and with it, did day hikes on the Wedgemount, Joffre Lakes, Rainbow, and Garibaldi Lake Trails in Whistler, Canada (totaling 3370 meters / 2.1 miles in ELEVATION gain, and 58 kilometers / 36 miles in distance hiked). We hiked in both rain and shine. We used every compartment and strap, opened and closed the pack multiple times during the hikes. The backpack still looks brand new. Not only that, it's stylish enough where you could just keep a couple items in it and walk around the city during the daytime (heard strangers commenting "that's a cool backpack"). The 2 mesh side compartments hold 1 L water bottles perfectly. There are 2 small lateral zipper compartments, located along the topside of the backpack, that fit wallets/cell phones/keys perfectly. You can also fit an IPhone5 into the front shoulder mesh pouch, for even easier access, and tuck your earphones into the opposite strap that has a little loop. The bulk of the backpack is separated into 3 compartments, and the "outside" 2 compartments have individually sewn compartments located within, to help keep things organized. The back and shoulder straps are nicely padded. I found the hook attachment perfect for strapping on my sunhat, but of course it can be used for other things. We were able to fit into this backpack: - 2 rain ponchos - 2 one Liter water bottles - 2 jackets of medium thickness (size M and XS) - 2 sweaters - 2 Bear-Naked sized bags of trail mix - 6 Protein Bars - 2 phones, 2 sets of keys, 2 wallets, 2 sunglasses and their cases, 2 earphones - Magnesium Fire Starter and 2 Mylar blankets (just in case) In short, this is a terrific backpack for couples doing day hikes, and walking around in the town at night while still trying to maintain a sense of fashion sensibilities. Thanks to the padded backside and straps, and the design of the strap juncture and width, it was still comfortable to wear this backpack during the hikes (as comfortable as lugging around a backpack can be). Plus, at the price, it offers incredible value. There are few other products I can think of at this price point, that offers this much in terms of durability, functionality, multipurpose use, convenience, and looks all into one. One of the best purchases of the year!

Since this backpack is normally used with students, you do not want anything happening to it especially since you are depending on it. It is not only limited to students; you can use it for any purpose. This backpack comes in a variety of colors, is made from strong material, and has many pockets. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. Design You have many options of colors, which can fit your style no matter what it may be. There are backpacks with designs, and there are backpacks with two colors. There are a wide variety of designs that you are able to choose from and look great while wearing it. If you want to have a number of these backpacks to go with what you are wearing, they are cheap enough to buy many. You will not find another backpack with these unique designs. Durability This backpack is made from strong materials, which allows you to put heavy items in without a risk of tearing. When you buy a backpack, you want one that will be reliable. You can use this backpack with heavy books and it will still last. This backpack is made from 100% polyester, which shows you the strength of it. My only complaint would be that the fabric attached to the zippers fray, but the zippers are still functional. This backpack has water resistant properties too. Reliability is something you should take in consideration when choosing a backpack. Spacious Pockets This backpack has a great design with the numerous spacious pockets, and the water bottle holders on the side. Instead of carrying your water bottle, you can put it on the side of your backpack. This is something you will find extremely useful. The pockets are also great to have since you have many to become organized with. You can separate items instead of having to search through one pocket for everything you need. Spacious pockets, and water bottle holders are what you should be taking in consideration when choosing a backpack. Great Product You will not find a better backpack for this great of a price. This backpack has great fashion with the many unique styles offered, and has a great design with reliability. This backpack has gotten me through5 years of college and 2 of moving back and forth , im surprised Amazon was even still letting me still review it lol anyways love it.

I've had this bag for about 2 months and its good quality. I've seen reviews where some will say this bag doesn't last long, but how someone takes care of the bag and uses it will determine how long the bag will survive. I have prime so the bag did get to me in two days. It didn't have a wierd smell or anything I was able to use it right away. This is a "female" fit-meaning the strap is a little thinner and (if you notice some of the other bags) does not have a cellphone compartment on the strap. BE SURE TO READ THE BAG'S DESCRIPTION IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE "FEMALE" FIT. The bag has straps on the side so you can compress the bag as thin as the straps can go. In my bag I have a 7"x10" sketchbook, 8"x10" textbook with 300 pages, a 5 subject notebook, and a workbook in the main compartment. I store my SurfacePro3 in the tech compartment with my cellphone charger and 3DS XL. There is a pocket for your laptop that you can slide in, I have a laptop sleeve that I put my laptop in and I keep the 3DS and charger outside of the pocket. The front and smallest pocket I store all my pens, gum, and eyedrops. It is a long compartment, but it doesn't open wide enough for me to look in and see what I have. But I do not use this compartment too much. There are 2 waterbottle nets on the side. There is also two sleeves that are for your sunglasses and other small accessories to store. They are in between the two main compartments. I use them to store my wallet and the second pocket I store my earphones. Lots of room to store things, and helps me keep all my essentials. I really like this backpack and hope some of you would like it as well. Edit: April 2 2018 my zippers to the bag broke off. First one to the main compartment broke when my friend bumped into me lightly and the zipper came undone. The 2nd one came off just from zipping the bag closed without force.

We originally purchased this backpack a little over 3 years ago for my son for school. He has put it through 3 school years, he has dropped it, tossed it, thrown it, loaded it with more crap then any kid should ever have to carry at school and it just kept surviving! It held up to carrying a computer, 3 thick school books, 5-6 composition books, 6 folders plus all the small crap like pens, pencils, glue etc. This really has been a great backpack. It is well made.. the only down side is the strap did finally give out. BUT because of how long it last after all it was put through we are purchasing another one for this year that should get him through his last 3 years of school!! I would highly recommend this!! It has plenty of space for everything, is well made and comes in lots of colors!!

I bought this backpack for our trip to disney world. I looked at several backpacks and read several reviews before making my final decision on one. I wanted one with several pockets and lots of room. Also wanted one that would be comfortable as I would be having it on my back for several hours each day. I must say I was highly impressed with this one. The shoulder straps have a cushion on them that make it very comfortable on your shoulders so you don't feel the pressure of wearing a backpack. It was easy to adjust to my back and was very comfortable. Honestly I didn't feel like I was wearing it for several hours per day. It has several pockets and compartments in it so that you are able to keep everything organized. I love this backpack. I still use it today. I use it to go to the pool, hicking, or simply to the zoo. It is convenient for anywhere you are taking the kids and just have a lot of things you need to take. It is well made. I have had it for over a year now and has held up just fine. I would recommend this product to anyone. I am going to be buying this brand of backpack for my girls for school this year. As their backpacks didn't last the whole school year. Which I am still made about. Which I would have just bought the High Sierra one instead. I spent more money buying 2 them I would have just buying the nicer one:(. O well lesson learned. Considering the price, it's a great bag. A few things I have notices that I love. The "tablet pocket" is large enough to fit a 14" computer. I have a Sony. There is not padding because it is not meant to have a computer in it, I have bought a cheap, thin sleeve for my computer and it still works well. I like the zippers, they are easy to close and I have packed mine pretty full and it hasn't given yet! The pink is a very pretty lighter hot pink almost. The pockets are deep, as in they are more open towards the bottom, but the way the smaller sipper pockets are designed there is not the same room at the top as there is at the bottom. For me it is just a little too small another inch or so would be great but still a great bag. I can fit 2-1.5 inch binders (or a 1.5 inch binder and a 2inch book), a planner (.5 inch), my wallet, flip flops. those items settle into the bag towards the bottom leaving the top with a good amount of room. I can then put clothes or lunch on top of that and still close it. That all is for the largest zipper pocket. The second largest I managed to fit a pair of shorts, and a very thin zip up hoodie in my bag. This is also considered the "tablet pocket" so it would be clothes or laptop, most likely not both. OR Lunch or Laptop or Clothes. 2 out of the 3 will fit! All in all it had been comfortable, love the straps, and holds just about everything I need it too. I have a lab class and we have to wear tennis shoes. Well, someone wrote a review about how they hook their tennis shoes onto the hook on the front of the back. At first, it seems a little silly, but it totally works! and saves space for other things. Especially if you NEED to pack clothes to change into after lab class in the heat of summer. No one likes wearing jeans and a long sleeve shirt and tennis shoes in 90 degree weather. I would have given this bag 5 stars if it had 1 inch more of depth room in the main pocket. That's all I need for it to be a perfect bag. I had bought a $140 eagle creek universal traveler bag. Did not like it. Not comfortable, doesn't fit what it should, and is smaller than this bag, even with a designated laptop sleeve. If you have a 14" laptop, tablet, or don't need to carry one this is a better choice.

This is the perfect bag for my first grader. Countless compartments/pockets for all her stuff plus winter gear & toys she sneaks to school. The quality is good too, reenforced water bottle pockets so no rips. I’m not sure how the shoulder straps work but they are well supported and very comfortable. I will only be purchasing high sierra bags moving forward.

15 years ago I bought a backpack from this brand and it turned out to be indestructible, I used it every day for 6-7 years. I bought this backpack for my son, but unfortunately in less than a month the backpack ripped at the bottom. It is clear that the brand does not make quality backpacks like it used to and the quality is very poor now.
