I bought this thing in September of 2022. Coming back now to buy a new one. Not because it didn't work. But because the heat has finally done it in. I new it was getting loss but never really looked at it until today. And found the heat had made it worp and crack. Its lasted well in the desert heat. Buying again.

Worked perfectly connecting my little Insignia dash cam to my Toyota Sequoia’s rearview mirror. Installed in just a few minutes once I figured out which of the many connectors provided fit my model cam. A word to the wise: there are no instructions included. I had to open this listing to look at the photo of the assembled unit to figure out how it went together.

Purchased with hoping the pieces would fit my dash cam but it was loose but that’s not the worst part; it didn’t even come with the clamp that attaches to the mirror. It came with a suction cup, which I didn’t want in the first place. So I ordered another one just in case they missed it but no, it was the same pieces. Not to mention they’re cheaply made. What blows my mind is the manual it comes with, it shows the pieces I need. I’m returning them. Don’t waste your money or time.

It works well, just install one piece at a time. First, find the compatible mount, then install the part that goes on your mirror first, then add the ball joints (including the camera mount), then add the camera last.

Absolutely the best system to mount dash cam that I have found. Fittings included should work well for any application or vehicle type. So quick to install and definitely recommend.

Where is the camera

This was a good solution for an Insignia dashcam whose suction-cup mount started falling off in warm weather, then eventually stopped holding at all. This universal mount came with many adapters, and one fit the Insignia dashcam perfectly. It was easy to attach to the rear-view mirror and has been stable. All in all a great value.
