Ram Golf SGS 460cc Driver - Mens Right Hand - Headcover Included - Steel Shaft

Five stars due to the price and performanceHeadline says beginner looking to upgrade, but not sure exactly what they would upgrade from...I've got about 300 hits with this club and two rounds before submitting the review. I bought the steel shaft because I wanted a little more stiffness. Initial impressions... well, its an oversized driver with a steel shaft and will impress beginners with it in the bag. Nothing much there. The face has held up with no damage so far.Performance: I like it. Sweet spot is large and I'm hitting my targets. Using a 10 year old Pinemeadow Synchron Driver as a comparison, the face is wide and the tail tapers off nicely for a cleaner aerodynamic look. Its a tad heavy with the steel shaft, but thats not fault of the club (I ordered it that way right). Distance is acceptable and I'm getting 190 - 210 carry at the range with consistency.Would I recommend? -- YES, if it can be had for $40 or less

This driver is very high quality for its price, and a great first driver to add to your bag until you invest in a high end club. I can hit this driver 200-225 consistently and accurately, and even cranked a 250 today at the range; whereas with a high end driver I usually hit 225-275. I liked this club so much I even bought a 5 wood, and shaved 10 strokes off my last round. Must buy if you looking for a quality driver on a budget.

I suck at golf in general, so I can't really tell you if this driver is good or not, but so far, it's been pretty durable and looks good in the bag. The shaft is super flexible, despite it being steel and the head cover is cheap feeling, but gets the job done.

Decent driver for a beginner. Has a metal shaft which makes it heavy. Club is not very forgiving, as a new golfer I find I have a slight slice and this one club exaggerates the slice compared to higher end options. If you have a decent swing it may work fine for you but it’s not a great confidence builder haha. I will be buying a name brand driver eventually but for now it works.

Nice driver. Have used it for a couple of years. The ball is headed straight most of the time. Strongly recommend it but recently lost the head cover. Wondering where I can get a replacement head cover. The key is to use a long tee to get straight shots. The 3wood RAM is even better. Like the set of RAM clubs I got from Amazon

What an absolute piece of junk. The first time I hit with it, it dented.

Best use is for driving range and practice. Not reliable for tournament or league play

I finally went out golf this year a couple times. I purchased this driver to replace the driver that came with my new Top Flite set. The drivers are graphite. Went to the driving range and in no time was hitting the ball a good distance. I feel for the money RAM makes a great product. I am very satisfied with this driver, so much that I also purchased the RAM 3 & 5 wood drivers.
