Simple, easy to use, responsive
I bought this bike GPS unit to replace the old Garmin Edge 520. Bryton Rider 420 became my choice as it provides all the essential functions and data for significantly lower price. The battery life is excellent. I took it for a long ride today and I don't think the battery level changed noticeably. With my prior head unit, I had to recharge after every long ride. The hardware of Rider 420 is nicely built. The unit feels pretty sturdy. Screen is sharp and easy to read. It's simple to keep the back light on in low light situations. This head unit captures satellite signals very quickly and accurately. It connects quickly with other devices (I connected this with Assioma pedal power meter). The unit also syncs easily with 3rd party apps (I use Komoot for route planning and Strava for ride record keeping).Overall I'm quite happy with this purchase. This unit works exactly as advertised and is pretty sufficient for most riders. Granted there are no fancy software functions like live segment KOM. But for capturing all the relevant ride data and providing route direction, this unit works well.

Good bike computer, but...
Got this bike computer to replace 8 years old bike computer. Is a great bike computer if you only use it as that, the instructions aren't clear on how to set up some of the features, also if you want to use it to track your rides and achievements, you need to use an app, so this way it can communicate with thirds party software like Strava et all. There is the big downside of this computer, I did tried several times to make this computer to upload my rides to the app, and nothing worked, I did contact costumer service and it didn't help either. So in a few words, good bike computer, bad app. I don't know how long the battery life really is, I will guess something around 12 hrs., no the 35 hrs. that it claims.

Good Value and easy to set up.
Has lots of options and was easy to sync to several 3rd party apps. Only thing is you do have to wear a chest strap for heart rate but it does track a lot of things. Speed, Cadence, HR, Elevations gained, Avg and Max Speed. Watts produces and Map downloads. Also 2 Bike Options settings.

Love this for my IM race
Using for my Ironman 70.3. Love this device. It doesn’t break the bank and it has all the features I need.

Will buy another for my wife’s bike.
The setup was straightforward enough, I used the Bryton manual and found all I needed there. Sensors, both Bryton’s and a Garmin connected immediately. The DI2 computer also connected as soon as I tried to pair. I got less than 35 hours in the first charge, but it was over 20 and I charged it when the indicator showed 25%. Very pleased. I saw some people say it was difficult to turn on and off with the computer in the mount. It is a little, but it’s also only a quarter turn to take it out and replace, so not a problem for me.

Does not reconnect to App
I should have listen to the reviews. The computer is good not too big or small for an average rider like myself. The computer connected easily to the speed, cadence and HR monitor. I used it for the first time today and it was easy to read and seem accurate. The problem with this computer is the APP. It connected initially during setup but will not reconnect again. No matter what I do, the computer will not reconnect to the App on the Iphone. Switched from Garmin where never had a problem with syncing but may have to pay the extra and switch back because Garmin made it easy to sync. Two stars because of the computer if I did not like the computer it would be one star...The syncing issue forced me to return this. They pushed a update out and had to completely reconnect the sensors and then it would not sync with app.Computer seemed to work well other than the syncing issue

Good value
I just wanted a basic bike odometer/speedometer. This is that and so much more. I had no problems getting it and it's software set up, and with the basic holder, I have no problem with the location of the buttons. It has added motivation to my rides with it's mapping and elevation information. Good value and good product (at least so far).
