Air Filter
Don’t catch yourself ridin’ dirty. OEM filter fit like a champ. I typically use a KN filter, but whenever it gets dirty and needs cleaned, I toss this filter in and it does the trick.

Genuine OEM & easy to install
Genuine OEM product; came in retail OEM packaging, and looks exactly like the OEM filter I removed. Replacement was tool-less and extremely simple; just pop two clips and open a plastic box with your hands. No problems. Check and/or replace every 10,000 miles for best results.

Fits perfectly on 2015 WRX; old filter was incredibly dirty and clogged at only 26K miles, WELL worth the money!
I have a 2015 WRX with about 26K miles, and decided to go ahead and take a look at the air filter. Well, the factory one was HORRIBLY dirty (and I live in the city and have not exposed my car to any particular harsh or dusty environments). I ordered this filter and it came quickly and most importantly fits perfectly; it is completely identical to the factory unit. It took all of 5 minutes, and now my car seems to even pull a little better (but could be my imagination). Regardless, this is an essential maintenance item that should be replaced MORE frequently than what is recommended by the manufacturer (in my opinion). Subaru recommends replacing the air filter at 30K miles, and then at 90K, which is WAY too long. Going forward I will be replacing mine at 15K miles at least.

The Subaru air filter is a good one!
Expensive for an auto engine air filter. Well built. Appears to be the real OEM filter. I have tried another non-OEM brand of air filter that had more pleats but used a thinner filter media. The engine did not perform as well when going up steep hills. So, it is OEM filter for my Subaru.

Subaru filter
Subaru brand filter. Install is quick if you are capable of working on your own car. I choose this because it is the Subaru brand and I know I can depend on consistent quality. It was exactly as I expected, exactly what I wanted.

Decent OEM air filter
This filter is for my 2018 WRX.Like most original OEM parts they can be pricy, but I thought this was not too bad.I have yet to find replacing a stock air filter in a stock air filter box easy. For me, there is always some wrestling you have to do to replace the filter. As far as mileage, I don't drive my WRX very often so I cannot comment on that. The filter performs the way it is supposed to, so as long as it does that I am happy.

Change your own filters and save $$$!
Subaru Pacific shipped the genuine OEM Made in USA air filter quickly, and installation was a breeze. Palm Springs Subaru wanted to change the engine air filter and the cabin air filter when I took our 2015 Forester XT in for an oil change. They attempted to guilt-shame me into having them do it by having the Service Advisor bring me the dirty old filters. I definitely saved money by buying OEM filters on Amazon and installing them myself. It's very simple, and you can find YouTube videos to show you how.

Expensive, but...
Scotty Kilmer, my favourite YouTube car mechanic, says engines and engine repairs are very expensive, but the recommended fluids and filters are cheap in comparison, and are least likely to hurt the engine. When I feel my car is nearer end-of-life, then I will skimp and buy non-Subaru parts.
