Q: Can this have the arms removed and not use them?

No, the arms are used to bolt the base and the back together, without them their would be no back to the chair.

Q: any tips on attaching the wheels? I can’t seem to get them to secure/click in??

Hubby says they just went in and then when he sat on it they clicked in.

Q: Can you the chair comfortably underneath an average dining table with the arms going underneath so you can pull yourself close to the table?

The wife uses this for her study work for uni , it’s adjustable up and down and other adjustable parts seat , but it slides under the desk no probs
