'Beyond Time' is fantabulous collection of best ever renderings in the vocals of Jagjit singh and Chitra Singh. Jagjit's ethereal voice and beautiful orchestration is the superb saving grace. Jagjit Singh is one of the foremost Ghazal singers and Chitra Singh has been a perfect foil for him. 'Apni Aankhon Ke Samunder Mein' is a melodious song in the sweet vocal of Jagjit Singh. Nazir Baqri's endevors are truly appreciable. He has given music in the album. It is not easy to sum up the musical genius of Jagjit Singh just as it is not easy to describe the mellifluousness of his voice.
