Ear Speaker Module and Face ID Sensor Proximity Light Flex Cable Assembly Replacement for iPhone Xs Max

I had a broken screen so I replaced it, during the process I ripped the ribbon that controls the ear piece, the Face ID and the sensor proximity (basically the chip which makes the screen change brightness according to outside outside lighting).So I bought this chip and it did get my proximity and ear piece back and running but my Face ID still doesn’t work. From what I read online that would mean some soldering to remove your old chip and solder into this chip that’s too much for me so this plug and play chip only works to fix earpiece speaker and proximity sensor which is good enough for me I’m happy I atleast got that back. XS Max

The screw holes do not line up, the cable with the connector is wrong and where the sensor is, it has not been molded correctly. You can’t put the front of the phone on with the extra plastic protruding out past the edge of the phone. It’s just all sorts of wrong. I included a picture of the factory part, which I removed from my phone on the left, and the aftermarket part on the right. The other two pics are me attempting to install it. Waste of time and money. I’ll be sending this back for a refund.

This item is made for the IPHONE XS Max it fits in the phone but does not work as the facial recognition still does not work after installation and phone started overheating so removed it and put faulty sensor back in so phone stopped overheating.

All good, just no Face ID.
