Olba B.V. Feedomatic Automatic Poultry Feeder, 12 kg

This is a great treadle feeder and my hens learnt to use it within a couple of days and the crows have stopped coming around to our chicken run. It's well made and heavy and easy to put together. You can even adjust the weight needed to work it to suit your bird size.The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that once you fill the feeder you can't adjust the rate of flow without emptying the whole feeder. It would be better if there was a long slot instead of 4 holes this way you can undo the wing nuts and slide the plate up and down. I would recommend this feeder to anyone with a crow problem.

Well, it's rat proof. That is, appart from all the food that gets scattered about and seems to pile up in a big heap beneath it. A complete and utter waste of time and money.

Unfortunately, this device while great in concept, doesn't stop unwanted visitors to the feed station. Worse still, some unwelcome animals are chewing the plastic in a bid to get to the food. Voss will not tell me the contact details of the manufacturer (it's made in The Netherlands) so I can get spares. So, once it's been eaten through, I will have to throw it away. Very unsatisfactory.

Worked ok for a period but the photo speaks for itself, these are not vermin proof. Would not recommend. I have also been unable to get contact details for the manufacturer to source a replacement lid.

Article reçu avec une pièce du dispositif importante de bascule cassée voir à gauche des images.De plus qu'on on peut le voir aussi, la pièce de basculement est montée mal centrée. ce qui fait que même si la pièce n'était pas cassée, la bascule frotte fort sur la gauche. Honteux.A fuir de toute vitesse ! Stop !De plus, lorsque j'ai voulu le renvoyer, le site Amazon m'indique que cet article ne peut être renvoyé. Pourquoi ? C'est pas un article d'hygiène !J'en acheté un autre dans une autre enseigne, bien meilleur.

Ich hatte eine echte Rattenplage bei nur 2 Hühnern. Das Futter im hängenden Silo-Vorratsbehälterwar nach 2 Tagen alle, von den Ratten. Der kleine Stall sah jeden Morgen verwüstet aus.Jetzt nach einer Woche kann ich sagen:Die Lieferung war gut, fast fertig zusammengebaut. Ratten kaum noch (nicht ganz weg)Der Hühnerstall ist jetzt ein Selbstversorger.Aber Achtung: Beim Kauf auf die Größe achten, ich hätte weniger als die 12 kg gebraucht.Insgesamt Danke dem Erfinder!!!

Ne ho già due di legno.. questa di ferro mi piace di più perché ha un sistema che limita l’uscita inutile di mangime.. non si può pretendere di metterla in mezzo ad un pollaio e che la gallina ci sale! Bisogna insegnarli ! Proprio come a noi ci hanno insegnato ad andare in bici!

This is the Best Purchase for the chickens I have done. It holds a lot of food, so if I have to go away for a few days I don't have to worry the chickens will run out of Food. They figured out pretty fast how to operate it. The Birds and Mice are not an issue anymore, as to before the Birds would eat all the Food in 1 day. If you are thinking about a Feeder, I would recommend this one for sure.
