Unfortunately no. The Pro 500 has 2.0HP and is designed to handle the taller container with 3" Blade Diameter.

Will this work with the Vitamix 5200?

According to the rep I just spoke to at Vita-mix cust service, although it will fit and it's not reccomended due to the 5000/5200 having the 2.0hp motor, where the 5300 etc. have the 2.2hp motor...... I asked because I was looking for something with a lower profile my 5000 series..............
