It has all the tools needed plus extra - This kit was actually perfect. It has all the tools needed plus extra. I have replaced some screens before (on iPhone 4), but if you have some intuition to what you are doing you hardly even need the instructions. The screen works perfectly and only took about half hour to install. I originally was going to Apple since they charge same price plus tax for it to be replaced, but was told one time that my phone was too bent and couldn't be fixed, but that's because apple geniuses are in fact, not, in any sense of the word educated or geniuses. You can bend phone back with screen off work and a little wiggle and it will work perfectly. Spending half hour on this beats the 2 hour trips to the store it would take to drop it off to be fixed. Review: The first package I received was delivered promptly and was not terribly difficult to install - Well, I finally busted a screen... having had Iphones since 2007 and never breaking one. I had high hopes for this screen repair. The first package I received was delivered promptly and was not terribly difficult to install. There were a few issues, the instructions are incorrect in a couple places and the bezel for the home button was not properly cast making the button depress when you screw the back plate on.. all very fixable. The phone powered up nicely and at first the screen looked ok. Nice colors and bright. Then I noticed that the painted(or printed or silk screened) border was larger than the OEM screen and made my screen smaller. Then I noticed the Proximity sensor did not work (the cause of this is debatable as some say it is the screen itself, some say it is the LCD light bleeding from inside the assembly) and the touchscreen acted a bit wonky. Texting or emailing turned into a struggle, having to type things three times to get it right. I reordered another screen and prepared to return the first. Installed the second screen last night after comparing the black border (the new one looked better). The new screen functions better but is definitely not a retina display... it has a purple\blue hue to it and looks even worse when viewed from an angle. Every time I look at it I am disappointed, and I use it a lot. I would suggest you take the time to send your phone into apple to receive a proper screen that will perform like it should.

Good solution if Apple won't replace the screen on your phone
I bought this because the Apple store refused to replace the screen on my phone, saying it was "too far gone" and "bent." Of course, they wanted $300 for a replacement phone. The screen was extremely shattered, I'll give them that, but I couldn't see how it was "too bent" when I vaguely know how they work and what needed to be done. It took around an hour and was a little bit frustrating at times, but it worked like a charm and I now have a fully functioning iphone 6 for only $110.

Hard work, but got the results I wanted!
I ordered this screen to replace my shattered iphone screen. Product was packaged very well, with all tools needed plus some that I didn't need. Instruction booklet was very easy to follow. There were only a couple of things I would have liked to have included in the instructions. 1st: They should have included how CRUCIAL it is to put all screws in the exact order that you took them off. Any small mistake with putting the wrong screw in the wrong place could ruin your phone completely! (Example: long-screw damage) PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and buy a magnetic map for the screws when doing this repair! And google long-screw damage! You will need to know all of the risks you are taking by replacing the screen yourself if you have never done it before. 2nd: I wish they would have explained how to get the ambient light sticker out of the black iphone screen and replace it into the new screen. I didn't know if I was going to damage something. I did not have experience replacing screens on any phone. I ordered my screen, followed all instructions in the booklet. Thank goodness I did NOT make a mistake with the screws (although, I easily could have by not knowing what I know now. It was a miracle for sure). After repairing the screen the screen did not work. It would not turn on no matter what I did. I took it apart again, and put it back together. I tried hard resetting, NOTHING! I plugged my phone to my computer and it was still recognized in ITunes and iCloud. So I knoew it was still alive, just in a vegetative state. So I contacted customer support at iCracked and they suggested a couple of things to try which did not work, so they then told me to return the screen and have amazon send a new one. I also ordered a brand new set of screws this time as well. The second screen worked! I did have an issue where the still shot camera did not work. The video worked just fine. But the screen froze on the still camera. So I factory reset it and now it works perfectly! I restored it in iCloud and it's like I never had a problem in the first place. Replacing the screen is tedious! You must work slowly and delicately! You have to pay attention to everything you do. If the screen doesn't work, try every tip you can find before you assume there is damage to the logic board or anything major like that. In my case, I just received a defective screen. Good luck!

Great product, great company.
Actually took me a few hours to replace but only because I was probably being a little too careful each step of the way and not applying enough pressure to disconnect and reconnect everything. There was a minor display issue but the company was quick to recommend a solution and provide a replacement when the solution did not work. The demonstration video was very thorough and was able to get me through the process, however, I had a few issues with it. Because I am rating the product, and not the video, I am giving 5/5, but I would have to give the video a 3-4/5. There were quite a few steps where I was not able to tell what he was unscrewing or disconnecting because it wasn't zoomed in and his hand was in the way. He would just say "Ok now unscrew the (whatever)" and he would unscrew one screw about half way then it would cut to the next step. I was ultimately able to follow along but it added a lot of time to my process.

The tools provided were awesome, along with the booklet of directions and pre-installed screen protector, the screen however was not. After reading the reviews I took a chance on the iCracked Replacement screen for an iPhone 6. The directions were clear and it was a long but fairly straight forward process. After installing I powered up the phone and a few seconds later several vertical lines appeared on the screen and only the top half of the digitizer worked. I created a warranty ticket online and received a response the next day. The tech asked me to verify the cables, use alcohol and a q-tip to clean the connectors, etc. Sensing stalling I instead ordered another screen from another Amazon seller which worked flawlessly and am returning the iCracked screen. Several other reviews mentioned receiving bad screens and I wouldn't take another chance on this produce no matter how good the directions and tools are. Consider once you have the phone apart, put back together, only to find out the screen is defective. It's best to find a company with a better reputation.

Fun but labor intensive for newbies. unhappy with purchase
I followed directions carefully and I was very precautions. Unfortunately after installation, I was greated with a defective LCD screen with hair crack under the glass... plus the screen wouldn't seal flush with body near the volume rockers and home button. It came out awesome though, proximity sensor works, fingerprint scanner works, mics and front camera all work. Fun project to do and will be easy and less time consuming for next time. Just hope that the next one I get is Flush with side.

One of the Best! Great replacement for OEM screens
Having replaced many iPhone screens for myself or friends (I am not a commercial user and do not do this professionally) I have seen and used a wide array of replacement IOS screens. This is by far the best I have seen and well worth paying the extra money. Other cheaper screens have been damaged in the box, been defective (which you can only know once installed and powered on) or simply come with poor quality tools or missing many peripherals. This screen came with GOOD tools for the job that actually fit the screws, it has a direct link for a video that the company produced themselves to walk through the replacement if you're not familiar which is an excellent tutorial, it fit well (wasn't too thick like some aftermarket replacements) and functioned perfectly.
