this roll is soft to the touch, easy to wrap and easy to tie off. it has protected my young mulberry trees from the north wind the last two years, so the trunks don't split. it's breathable and can be left on all year.

I couldn’t find a cloth wrap at my local nursery/hardware store so I ordered these online. The quality is good and the wrap is easy to install. Our problem is that the squirrels love it and rip it up. We will have to go back to another paper material which isn’t enticing to them.

I really like the material. It is a very heavy, felt-like material. It seems like it will provide good protection during the winter. What I don’t like about it is what many other reviewers have mentioned. It is terribly packaged and not friendly to use. I t pretty much comes in a large, long sheet of fabric that is scored down the middle. I had to lay out the entire block of fabric, separate it into two segments at the score, cut it into more manageable lengths of fabric, and then wrap it around my hand to make it into a roll that would then be easy to wrap around the trunk of a tree. Have you ever tried to wrap an extremely long piece of material around a tree trunk without it being rolled up first? It is a pain. That is how this product is delivered. Other than the packaging element, I quite like the actual wrap. It was inexpensive which was the only saving grace. I recommend buying it, if you are willing to put in the work to separate it.

This product does not last. I installed it a month ago and it is already disintegrating on the trees. I purchased this same product two years ago and it is not the same material. I have some leftover from my first order to compare. As others mentioned, it is one large roll with slight perforations that you literally have to tear it apart to get the two rolls. This was a total waste of money.
