Great option to re-use spent pods with your own ground coffee. I buy my coffee beans fresh from a local roaster and use these lids to brew a delicious espresso with my Nespresso Vertuo. Just as good as the branded pods at a fraction of the price per cup. This is my second time purchasing and the first batch had an issue with random lids sticking to the paper backing and not peeling off smoothly. I have not encountered this issue with the second batch.

These work well and are easy to use. They are durable and have had no issues with with coming off or not working in the machine. Love that I can save money by reusing pods. Does not affect the taste.

I came back to reorder these today, for the 3rd time. The first time my husband ordered these, and my fancy pants said no way I was going to take all that time and effort, blah, blah, blah, and continued (stupidly) for an embarrassingly amount of time buying the brand name pre-made ones. Why am I telling you this?... Fast forward a few years and suddenly the cost of everything has gone up 20%, but our salaries didn't - I do realize in the grand scheme of things coffee pods are an extreme luxury, but I do maintain a super unhealthy relationship with caffeine, so I selfishly need/want it, and these little buddies help me maintain my habit, while staying in my budget. Looking to cut cost while still using my machine, I read some reviews, some good, some bad, and thought I would at least try, 120 for like $15, why not? They arrived, I took out some of my old pods, washed, dried, and broke out a regular dark roast, and made a few. AND LET ME TELL YOU - They were terrible. I immediately went to the living room to declare to my husband I was correct years ago that these things were too time consuming, wonky (they didn't fit, what is all this crap around the edges, do I press it down?), and they are a waste, and went back to the kitchen to clean up. Unfortunately I was born with the "I can't let this stupid thing beat me" gene, so I looked up few videos online and I started over, slowly, and with a little bit of patience I got it, and had a GREAT cup of coffee in 15mins. I've been using these for about a month, on a daily basis I drink about 8 pods (I know, i know). I have made so many of these, I'm pretty sure I could take a used pod, clean, dry, fill, cover and brew, blindfolded in under 3 mins now. I now also enjoy shopping for coffee, it's nice to be able to pick something out even if it's just from the grocery. Even better so far in a month, I've saved around $120-150. Taking the few days to practice getting it right is going to save me around $1500 annually, so these actually do work and for me they are worth it. I would recommend!

This aluminum foil seals are a great deal to me. When I discovered this product a year ago, I have been using it ever since. They are easy to assemble into the vertuo capsules and it seals well. The design is well thought as it portraits the company design. The only downside to this product is the adhesive comes off a little when I brew, making it difficult to take off my machine.

If you’re looking to save money by refilling your Nespresso pods, skip this brand. These foils are far inferior to higher-quality options like Geesta. While these are cheaper upfront, the cost quickly adds up when you factor in how easily they tear and the frustration involved. For context, I typically refill pods in batches and label the foils with a felt marker. With these foils, I don’t even attempt to write on them because they’re so thin that even light pressure can tear them. Compared to Geesta’s durable foils, these are incredibly flimsy. The biggest issue is how easily they tear during sealing. With Geesta, I can complete 20–25 pods in half an hour, but with this brand, I’m lucky to get through 7–8. And that’s with 4–5 foils ruined in the process. It’s aggravating to have to handle them with extreme delicacy, which defeats the purpose of an efficient refill process. Another possible downside is the size. These foils are larger than others I’ve used, and instead of simplifying the process, it actually makes it harder for me to align them properly (The size might be an upside for you though.) The only positive thing I can say is that they do work in the coffee maker - if you manage to seal them without tearing. But the frustration and waste simply aren’t worth it. If you’re serious about refilling your pods, I highly recommend spending a little more on Geesta. Their foils are tough, easy to use, and my failure rate is near zero. In my experience, you can “slip” and even dent Geesta foils pretty hard without puncturing them. If Aieve was the only brand available, I’d honestly rather pay full price for Nespresso pods. Avoid these and save yourself the hassle.

Works great used over 200 of these and never had one come undone just make sure the cup is well cleaned and dry before putting on.
