Mitsubishi Pencil MSE3005 Pure Malt Premium 2&1 Multi-Functional Pen, 0.7

I used it a lot when I worked as front office staff. It was such a help to switch between pen and pencil with a flick. It's easy to use and the ink cartridges last a surprisingly long time. The cartridge refill I got that works well is uni Jetstream sxr-200-07. There are probably other options out there...I haven't tried any others so far

I don't know why but this pen uses a short, all metal, refill which doesn't write as smoothly as the long ballpoint Jet Stream. The metal holding the ball scratches the paper surface - still produces nice script but not plesant to write with.

This pen looks no different than any other pen, fits well into the loop on my leather pad holder, and gives me the option of having one single writing instrument for notes (pencil), prioritization and corrections (red pen), and documents (black pen).This pen instead supports the professional impression that I want to make. Previously I used Coleto multi-pens but they draw too much attention and focus when I'm taking notes. This multi-pen fits my style. Great pen!

This pen looks sharp and feels good in your hand, hence the one star. However, after 3 days, the mechanism in it stopped working properly. The lead jammed in the barrel and won't advance. Additionally, the entire mechanism itself slips. The cartridge that you've chosen will extend too far and the push button at the other end of the pen loses tension and the only way to get the cartridge back into the pen body is to unscrew the end and jiggle it around. Returning it ASAP.

I am a big fan of jetstream (multi) pens from Uni. I like the 'jetstream' ink, which I think is of the best quality in the world. I have various versions of jetstream multi-pens using plastic tube ink. The only complaint with them is the durability of the plastic bodies, which break so easily when you screw/unscrew them several times. So, I was happy to find this product and was quick to purchase one.Unlike other multi pens, this one is very durable as the body is made of chrome. Unfortunately, however, that is the only strength of this pen. The biggest problem with it is that the quality of the ink in the metal containers is very different from that in plastic tubes. When I buy a pen, I buy for ink, not for design. Another problem is that the back of the pen is way heavier than the front so that I feel uncomfortable holding it for writing for a long time.After using it for one day, I ordered three of my previous multi-pen through Amazon. This product looks good in design but leaves much to be desired in terms of ink quality and balance of weight.
