Purchased for my mum and she loves it. The blanket has an elastic strap top and bottom which made it very easy to fit to the bed. It seems very good quality and my mum says it’s perfect.

Great blanket for winter nights it has made a difference from the cold at this time.

Have had this blanket for a few days and it appears to perform well heating up dependant upon various settings chosen fairly quickly. Setting 1 / takes the chill away luke warm / setting 2 a comfort warmth feel and setting 3 / very toasty warm but only for an extremely cold night or a short boost of up to 15/20mins . Compared to an equally well known brand at a not too faraway cost the quality is much the same and comfort factor similar, both could benefit from a very slight increase in the padding thickness having said that neither are intrusive and do not present a disturbance to ones sleep. What makes this purchase even better is the fact that it is slightly larger by 3 to 4inches reaching ones toes which on an open double base divan without a bed end to anchor duvet, that is the icing on the cake in my book .So far very happy with this budget buy blanket, but as still early days time will tell should the 2yr makers warranty ever requires tb called upon [ A nice bonus upon registering product on line]

Very easy to fit and covered my double bed perfectly. I've never had a heated blanket and oh the joy of a toasty bed!

I have had a few electric blankets before this and they were quite small, this one however is not! I bought a double bed blanket and it covers the whole bed other than under the pillows where its not supposed to be fitted. It is a nice thick sheepskin like material which has made my bed even more comfortable and it gives off a nice even heat. The other reason I bought it is I trust Russell Hobbs having had many of their products in the past. Definitely worth the money and costs pennies to run every night so a big energy saver in these current times of ridiculous energy costs!

Snug as a bug with my new elect blanket.

I gave three stars because it was so difficult to fit. Having to lift a heavy, deep mattress to secure the tapes is very difficult, especially for an OAP in his 70s. Elasticated corner bands would have been much better. It will be the same again when removing the blanket in summer, including difficulty undoing the knots used to tie off the tapes. The plug at the top of the blanket, where the power lead attaches, is too close to where you sleep and is uncomfortable, so I have turned the blanket around so it is at the bottom of the bed. As a result, the bottom ties are now too long and the top ties too short. Overall, the blanket is badly designed. I wont buy another from this manufacturer.

Lowest setting is perfect for overnight use when the weather is particularly cold.Highest setting warms the bed quickly which is useful if you've forgotten to put it on.Only four stars because the controller is cheap plastic. Strangely they call the controller a 'remote'. There is nothing remote about it. It is on the wire that connects the blanket to the mains plug.
