I can't say enough about Maxpedition bags and pouches, I own several and they hold up to whatever you can put them through! The beefy organizer is awesome, I have already filled it full and need a couple more, if you're meticulous about your stuff these organizers will fit your needs in every aspect!

Something is WRONG in Maxpeditionland.........
When I read the other negative review of this organizer talking about the "brittle, old and stiff elastic", I thought they had surely either received a knockoff, or they were being really fussy.Nope. The review was spot-on.I just received this organizer in foliage green, and the elastic band loops inside are about as stretchy and flexible as old leather!I have about ten items from Maxpedition including two other pocket organizers. The organizers are at least four years old, and the elastic in each is still very strong and flexible. The elastic portions on the right inside portion of the one I just received were literally so stiff and not-stretchable that the only thing they would easily hold are flat items no wider than their stitched-bordered width. I've never seen a pack material on any brand act like this. Very weird. The other materials and stitching seem like Maxpedition quality, so I didn't immediately smell a fake.I actually called Maxpedition to ask if this was perhaps a very ancient unit or if they had changed their elastic material.....but the customer service person assured me that they still make this organizer in foliage green and that their elastic was unchanged.Regardless, something is amiss with this organizer, and it's going back.

Recently decided to take the plunge on a quality product and holy crap! The difference is evident the instant you take ...
This EDC organizer is incredible. I've always gone the cheaper option on these, and have had a few off brand options. Recently decided to take the plunge on a quality product and holy crap! The difference is evident the instant you take it out of the plastic. This thing is quality! My day to day edc varies so much that I have a large selection of items I rotate in and out. Amazingly, I was able to get everything I really wanted in this organizer, with room to spare! I have locking pliers, adjustable wrench, screwdrivers, leatherman multi tool and even a small tape measure. This thing holds it all, good retention on the elastic straps and best of all it's organized and in plain view for when I need it (not just dumped into a pouch thank goodness). I realize I probably have a bit more that I like to carry than most and this is more of a utility pouch than a survival / emergency kit, but even with all of the tools I've crammed in the bag there was still room for a battery pack, a victorinox SAK, pry bar, and a booboo kit for scrapes and bruises, along with your standard LED J5 style flashlight of course. This thing is rugged. With it packed as much as I have it there still seems to be room for more! I plan on consolidating and attempting to get some more multi use items to get rid of some redundancy, but it is excellent as it is now. I love the grab handle on this thing, and attaching some molle clips to it I will be able to attach it to a larger bag if needed. The fact that his thing is very water resistant is just another carrot on top. Seriously wish I had just spent the few dollars more on the Maxpedition and I definitely plan on getting some of the smaller organizers for each of my vehicles with some more generic stuff. If you are on the fence about this... do it and you'll wonder how you got by without it!

Poor quality for a Maxpedition
Maxpedition quality has really gone downhill. I have this same product from when they were made in Taiwan, and it is top notch and I LOVE it with a passion. I order this as a second one, and got a newer one, now made in Vietnam, that is noticeably inferior. The elastic stretchy bands in particular are horrible compared to the past ones. They do not stretch well (if at all), so they do not hold items well, and they just do not feel right to the touch or in use. The stitching is ok, but not as great either. At first, I really thought I had been sent a counterfeit, and then another Maxpedition product I ordered came and had the same issues and same label. Other reviewers have had the same experience.Dear Maxpedition: please go back to your tried and true formula of top quality materials and good worksmanship. I won't be buying any more until you do...

Always in my camelbak
I frickin love this thing! I commute to work on my bike 23 miles roundtrip and this is always in my camelbak. The material is tough as nails, but not excessively heavy, and it holds way more than I believed it would. Here's what i carry: Small vise grips, Stanley 7" wonderbar, DMT folding diamond sharpener, Leatherman surge with bit extension and 40 piece bit kit, Spyderco endura, Leatherman style cs, Lifestraw, 20' 550 paracord, 10' gorilla duct tape, 1x6" strips of varying grit sandpaper, zip ties, 10' bailing wire, gorilla super glue, coleman camp soap sheets, fire steel, stanley 4 in 1 pen style screwdriver, space pen, bic lighter, foursevens preon p2, sharpie, burts beeswax chapstick, uncle bill's tweezers, streamlight nano, small first aid kit, contractors garbage bag, emergency blanket, rite in the rain pad, compass, 2 clif bars, 4 packs emergen-c, safety pins, and 4 packets of advil.

Great Bag! (But You Already Knew That)
I purchased this to better carry and organize the items I found myself using daily for work. When it first arrived, it was larger than I expected and I worried that it was too large and that I would not want to carry it with me all the time. Suppose it was the cost of the bag or the fact that I grew into the space, but I carry it every day now and am very pleased with it. The main zipper felt cheap or sticky (was not smooth operating) for the first few days, but now (a few weeks into use) it is smooth and works fine. I'm slowly acquiring items to put into the bag and it's constantly evolving.

useful product from Maxpedition
Another solid, useful product from Maxpedition. I regularly switch between 2 backpacks and this is the perfect size to make switching common items from one to the other a breeze. I'm in the habit of duplicating certain items so I have backups and don't have to worry about transferring items, but for those that can't justify being bought twice this is a great solution. As with any internal pack/pouch that I buy, I immediately add brightly-coloured paracord to the zips to help it stand out in my bag and to differentiate from other packs. Along with a morale patch on the handy velcro at the front this pouch is easy to spot and easy to grab in the morning when I switch bags.It comfortably holds 2 external hard drives, an SD card case, zip ties, snips, a selection of cables (lighting cable, ethernet, assorted usb cables), a couple of pens, some extra batteries for various things I carry.Although not waterproof, the nylon that Maxpedition use seems to repel/resist water nicely, so should your bag get wet it's at least another barrier. It's tough, I've attacked previous Maxped pouches with a knife to see what damage could be done if you're careless and they really do take a beating. The internal zips are all great quality and feel as if they'll take plenty of abuse. My only frustration, as with all other well-made pouches is that until they're filled, they often try to collapse on themselves. This can make it a bit fiddly or annoying to get things in to, but it seems to be a by-product of making something so well!

Strong, roomy & built to last
My first Beefy but not my first Maxpedition by any means. The brand are well known for robustness & pouches are always strong & well made with more than enough attachment points inside.Mine is being used as a tool-pouch that side in my day sack or bergen & easily contains (from left to right):Stanley multi-screwdriverMini-sawElectrical screwdriverNeedle-nose pliers5.11 A2 ATAC torch7" Roughneck Utility Bar (pry bar) - behind the torchNite Ize LED WandPower Practical Luminoodle & battery (10 ft long)Surefire Minumis headtorch with Fox 40 whistleAll of this & still room for more but keeps it all in one place so I can grab it quickly & without spilling items about.Nice job Beefy - I'll be back for more

Looks and feels great, time will tell with quality.
I do like it, material feels sturdy, pockets are good, plenty of elastic straps.. time will tell how durable it is.A bit on the pricey side - but other reviews show it being water resistant, and as it holding electronics, its probably worth spending a bit more to keep my gear safe.I started by buying the 'skinney' one, but as this couldn't hold all my gear I got this one. Both exactly the same pocket wise, just this ones larger.

Maxpedition - Fantastic
I'll keep this quick and simple. If you're looking for a larger size organiser, for E.D.C. purposes, or perhaps to keep stuff together back at home, this is a must-have buy.The usual top notch quality from Maxpedition (there IS a reason why they are considered the best when it comes to this kind of product) - there are cheaper alternatives, but if you want something that will last for many many years, this is the way to go.

Decent but expensive for what it is.
For what you get these are expensive. You would think they would at least be made of cordura and be a bit tougher. The product is fine in itself but I really do think I paid as much for the name as I did the product.
