Great product
This works so good. Able to reduce the fly population. The first time it connected with a fly, the snap made me actually jump a little. I wasn't expecting it to be as loud as it was. Im happy with my purchase

Doesn't work on wood bees
This is probably great for flies, however I got it to combat the wood bees that terrorize me while I sit on my apartment patio (not my house or I would take more drastic and permanent steps). If you have wood bees you know that they are territorial and will dive bomb anybody or anything they see as a threat (me).I have been using a regular tennis racquet for some time and I thought this would be better/kill faster because I do feel kind of bad volleying wood bees into the concrete, only for them to slowly die in the hot sun throughout the day (I live on the third floor, I'm not running downstairs every time to put them out of their misery sorry!).I got this today and was excited to try it! I've hit three bees with it. If you're familiar at all with wood bees you know they're HUGE! So these guys make a very satisfying and loud 'zap' when they hit the metal. However, idk if it's the size of the racquet affecting my swing or what but when I use the regular tennis racquet I can see the bees hit the ground and not get up. This racquet zaps them, but 2 out of the 3 bees I hit were knocked back but didn't hit the ground, just looped around the trees and came back. Unfortunately that means I'll be sticking to the regular racquet bc I need these dudes dead, not angry.

Better than I expected after reading poor reviews
After reading the reviews before purchase I expected less than what I received. The reviews said standing it up in the UV mode does not work, but I heard it working all day long in my kitchen so I was pleasantly surprised. Ibought it to use it as racket as one reviewer said, unless you plan to do that don't bother. It worked well as a racket and it worked well attracting bugs to their death when left in sentry mode.I'm glad that it is USB rechargeable, I used to use the similar product available at harbor freight, but that one is powered by double A's.

It’s exactly what I wanted
It’s great. But it definitely smells like I fried a bug. It definitely is effective and the battery life is good. The size of the racket is good and easy cleaning. It is not noisy.

Doesn't kill houseflies
When I received my fly swatter I put brand new batteries in and went on the hunt for a house fly that had infiltrated my home. Either I got lucky, or the batteries only stay fresh for a short time, because when I hit that first fly it blew him into two pieces. However, since then I’ve swatted several more house flies and NONE of them died. My husband smacked one, turned around to grab a tissue, and when he turned back the fly was gone. The swatter still makes a loud POP when I hit them, by fly number 4 didn’t even hit the floor, it kept flying! They seem dazed at best.I’ve recently moved to a new state that has some really nasty bugs, and my first day here I was chased off my porch by an aggressive bug which I thought was a wasp, but I’ve since learned is a deer fly. These things are big and nasty! They’re not just the extra-large flies you might find at a barn, but a nasty aggressive bug who gives painful bites. Because this flyswatter doesn’t even kill house flies, I’m afraid to take it out onto my porch to swat at deer flies. I don’t want to make them mad and incite their wrath. So I am still running back into the house screaming like a toddler whenever one comes around.

What a Great Device!
I love this little gem. I spent the summer in San Diego and the flys were so bad. I couldn't keep up with a fly swatter. The sticky tape caught 3 flys in two weeks - worthless! Once I tried this, the flys are almost nonexistent. I keep it in its base, plugged in, by the back door, and problem solved!

Works as intended and worth the price
The zapper has a convenient size. It works as intended and there is no issues with cleaning it after zapping since just shaking it slightly will drop the bugs easily out of the zapper. There is also no smell, the noise while zapping is also minimal. Only issue we had when it arrived was that the metallic wiring inside was a little misaligned and caused for electric noises even when nothing was being zapped, we adjusted the wire a little bit with help of tweezers and it works fine now.
