Product form not last
This product is defective and expensive.They keep malfunctioning and nit soft closing after very moderate use .It is a bad designI would stay away from purchasing the toilet with the soft close

Soft close toilet seat and lid in perfect condition
To clarify- the toilet seat and lid are included along with the mounting parts. It showed up perfect and intact. I will head the advice from other reviewers and be careful with installation since the consensus is that the plastic around the mounting brackets is brittle. When we install everything, I will give another update.

Size of original
Size of seat is just right, however the diameter of the hole in the seat hinges Vs the original mounts doesn’t fit. Mount pins at thicker than holes on seat hinges.Kit includes new mounts but to install them entire toilet needs to be dismounted, this means getting a plumber or a very messy DIY.

Amazing customer service
I purchased this as a replacement seat for the original, four years old, which had been damaged by the wrong cleaning produces. New seat arrived in a couple of days and was easy to install. Six weeks later, the slow-closing feature no longer worked. Turned out one of the retarder caps had been missing from the original purchase. I called Supply.com's toll free number, got a very helpful and polite person in customer service. I asked if there was a replacement cap. Since there wasn't, she said she was sorry for the problem and would send out a replacement seat. The next morning it arrived by Federal Express. In today's day and age, this is extraordinary service -- and I wanted to note that.

It’s a toilet seat cover
What can I say? It’s a toilet seat cover. It was expensive, but I got a big percentage off. The one that originally came with the toilet bowl somehow got yellowish and brownish and looked terrible. So far this one is standing up much better than the first. I think I got a dud with the original toilet.

Don't expect it to soft close
Similar to some of the other reviews on here, we are on our third toilet seat in less than 18 months because the soft close stops working after a few months and then it just slams closed. For more than $100 seat I would've expected more. Unfortunately, we have 4 of these toilets in our house. Would never recommend this toilet brand to anyone other than for looks. The modern look is the only reason I gave it one more star.
